03 vert. body

WGP lightning reg.
Dye Boomstick 18" .684

I was shooting DXS field paint in both

pretty sure it was 20 bps with the ego and 4 tops with the pump.

The limited feed rate of the rotor is starting to become apparent.

damn, when i texted bryce to do the waves i said the electros were near 21 ... my ear is slightly wrong

JD, i think your right, poeple need to break out there old Halo V35s and Empire B2 to get there hopper feed guns up to 25+ bps.
The ultimate truth in paintball is that the interaction between the gun and the player is far and away the largest factor in accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

And yes, Gordon is the sexiest manifestation of "to the front."

Right O, last night when Mike was talking on the radio about his submissions, he mentioned he is going to buy a pulse for his elctro

submission. Users are going to have to bust out the old stuff to compete ironically.

pulse is a damn fast loader too.

all of those loaders designed back in the pure speed days. the same way gun speeds have come down recently to make guns smoother and such, loaders have gotten slower too in order to be more gentle on paint (or in the rotors case, to make its cheaper to make).

idk, i bet if you tweeked a proph correctly you could get it in the mid 20's, but i think the old v35 and B2s and velos are still quicker.

I would personally like to see a pulse synced on an ego and see what happens.

I would also like to see someone with a warp feed for shits and giggles.

The rotor is confusing to me, a loader advertised at 50 bps that caps at around 20...hmmm.

How the hell did Dye get it feeding so fast?

They used theoretical paintballs. You don't expect it to actually feed real paintballs that fast, do you? ;)

hells yes. And on your sample there were several shots that were very, very close together. That's where your gun got the 25 bps number. However, in every full second sample I checked the most I got was what I posted.

Old school laning speed, son.

Too bad my V35 board fried earlier this year. I put my gun on ramping and let it fly.

But I wanna see someone beat 18 on semi. Screw all that fancy shiet.

The contest isnt about user interaction with the marker though, (although I think we all agree 18 bps in semi is awesome!)

The contest is about finding the highest bps with real world restrictions and cutting all of the bs that happens in most vids.

Agreed. Not sure why you would use semi when the competition is about your markers balls- not yours...

Can I submit a non-official(Don't have a chronograph) video just so I can see how fast my marker is. I would go to the field and use their chrono but its behind a counter and they get pissed when you shoot more then 5-10 shots.

the other problem about semi auto is that we can't police semi auto over the internet without high speed video fo the gun firing and the fingers flying.

you only need to shoot a couple over the chronograph. and there really ins't a point. I'm only going to spend the time checking videos that meet all criteria.

I could see a halo with some sort of super long feedneck extender thing doing really well, something to keep a ton of balls right above eachother. The spring tension would feed the balls in the stack super fast....since halos feed in bursts :P

edit: dont steal my idea >:(

GOOD POINT! I think a long feedneck might help since a one second burst is needed

see, now this is getting interesting. I love how at the start everyone thought that grabbing the latest and "greatest" gun out there and slapping a modern superloader would grab the prize. :)

now we're learning, and that's why this is in Punk Works.

oh, by the way, I'm going to start deleting off topic posts - this thread will get long enough without jibba-jabba.

damn roshkehba that was the loudest ego I've ever heard. It sounded like your lpr was jacked way up and your hpr was above the sweet spot (aka lowing the hpr pressure would actually increase velocity for a little bit and then it would start to drop.)
