Im interested in buying one of your barrels, if you have the one i want still for sale.

I want the one second from the bottom in the picture with the multitool and white paper background.

And do they happen to come with any freak inserts?

the Lucky 15" - I think I still have it. I'll check my barrel box. And no, I'm currently really short on inserts so I can't really sell you any. I'm trying to find a good supply so that I can ship barrels with inserts.

I usually suggest .004 smaller than the original bore size. so I would say .686 or smaller. If I get it nuts-on then you can go to .002 smaller - so 688

not really digging the proto.

What I'm looking for is a flat spot as close to the threads as possible. most of the BL barrels have a nice, 1.25" flat coming right after the threads - it's a great sport to grab it in the lathe. Some BLs - like yours - have that contour milling starting right after the threads - it means I have to grab it way out by that knuckle 6" down the barrel. It makes getting things really concentric much harder. Since I do this casually and want to make sure I get it right I don't like to take barrels I have to worry about wrecking.

ifits about 10 bucks i will certainly put it into consideration. if you need any measurements just ask

the length i believe from the end of the body to the tip of the barrel is about 2 inches. but i need to find my tape measurer to have a exact measurement

i believe it is the stock minimag barrel

I bore out the barrel making it big enough to take a freak insert. A freak insert is a thin aluminum tube that you can change out - so that you can choose what size you want the inside of your barrel to be. This is mostly useful on barrels that have a large bore - allowing you to use a smaller insert.

I don't think the J&J is fat enough for the Apexification. Barrels have to be close to a full 1" OD to work for that.

I had my J&J barrel freaked from Bryce but the tip was "flared" so there is no Way I could Apex tip mod it. to do an apex tip mod you need a tip which doesnt change size.

when freak boring, do you also bore the grooves for the o-rings? or do you bore it tight enough where it doesn't need them?

I bore it so that the insert rides with a bit of friction on the interior of the barrel. no o-rings.
