This medium sized speedball style field was opened in 2005 and is owned and opperated by the Sheridan Recreation District, a non-profit organization. Field bunkers are mainly airball style (inflatable bunkers), but also a few bunkers you may see on a hyperball field (barrels and plywood). Airball bunker layout includes a snake, a tootsie, a center can, and several mid-back doritos. Other bunkers include the back-center barrels (3 barrels bound tightly in a "V" shape), and the back-right and back-left plywood bunkers, which exist on both ends of the field at this time. This is an outdoor field with standard netting around its rectangular perimeter, two dead boxes in opposite corners of the field, a set of metal bleechers for spectators to watch from, a chrono zone, and a small dirt parking area. Sheridan Rec. Dist. holds two annual "leagues" at this field, spring league and fall league. League play must be signed up for in advance with a full 5 man team. This is a great field for any level of player. Competition ranges from the dead serious hardcores to the average office employee with no paintball experience just looking to pop off a few rounds at people's heads to burn some after work stress. League information is listed below. This information was taken directly from the SRD web site at this link: LINK.

The fee includes equipment (if needed) and air. Teams can either purchase paint from the Recreation District or bring their own.

All teams must be represented at this meeting (atleast one team member).

For more information call the SRD office at (307)-674-6421.

Important note to all players interested: Make sure your team captain knows when (days/time) you are available to play before he/she goes to the "managers meeting". All playing times are worked out at this meeting. By my experience at this field, games for each league are held twice during the work week in the evenings, and make-up games are held on saturdays if a cancelation is made due to weather.
