I have a Request for Punkworks.
Since Co2,when fired, drops its pressure... About how many shots do you lose at a certan timing during the shots.

example. I load a Fresh 12 gram into a 11"-14" dropout phantom and fire it until the velocity has significantly gone down to the point that at this velocity, paintballs cannot break apon impact.
And In between each shot I wait 5 seconds.

Then you repeat the same thing but at different timing between the shots.

First: 1 Balls per half second
second:1 ball per second
third:1 ball per 3 seconds
fourth:1 ball per 5 seconds
Fifth: 1 ball per 10 seconds
Sixth: 1 ball per 30 seconds

If punkworks decides to veto it... I will try to test it and will post the results ASAP

Unfortunately the ambient temperature and how well the CO2 cartridge can absorb heat will have a massive effect on those results.

Hotter days will allow you to shoot faster without loosing shots. A cold enough day and you might only get two shots.

Guns with more surface area touching the cartridge/tank will allow the cartridge to absorb heat better allowing fewer shots lost due to higher rates of fire.

it would be realy hard to record the chronograph results when shooting at half second intervals, or second intervals for that matter!

unless you could hook up your chrono to a computer and have the computer automaticly record the velocities of the shots as you shot them

is that possible ^^^ ????

Interesting idea about the heat transfer beteen the 12 gram and the gun/changer. I wonder if you would get any better results with a 12ie spraypainted with a thin coat of flat black paint. Seems a little counterintuitive, but I have read that it does help with heat sinks (I assume because of the additional IR heat transfer and maybe the additional surface area of the flat finish). Pretty mojo-ey. Plus it would be difficult to test due to the variance between 12 gram powerlets.
