Elfen lied is very good if you can get passed the first 5 minuets, you may also like Death note that's a very good anime also that's the only ones that come to mind right now
Thanks. Noein isnt panning out. I watched the first two episodes, and it is not my style. I am having trouble getting anything on Monster (too difficult to search for) so I am currently getting episodes of Death Note. I am thinking of trying out Darker than Black after that, but we will have to see. Can you give me a general overview of what Elfen Lied is about?
Well I could only get through about half of it, it was very dark for me but it's about a girl with powers lets call them she goes on a rampage after escaping the place she was imprisoned she is then shot in the head and loses her memory (she was wearing some kind of helmet that saved her) and that's about as much as I can remember right now but it's very good just a little too dark for me
you really have to watch it, it's kind of hard to explain
Elfen Lied takes place in Kamakura, Japan, focusing on a new strain of the human race - Diclonius, similar to human beings but different at the genetic level and notable due to physical abnormalities, particularly a pair of short horn-like protrusions. One such Diclonius, Lucy, is the main character of the series: Initially held in a facility built for experimentation, located off the coast of Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture, she manages to escape and wreak havoc, but is injured in the process, an event which causes her to develop a secondary, child-like personality known as Nyu.
Lucy is found by two locals, Kohta, who studies at the local university, and his cousin Yuka. They take her in, and become involved with the numerous, often brutal, attempts to recapture her by a Special Assault Team and a number of other Diclonius, who shift from oblivious to murderous frequently.
