I just applied for job, so if I get that hopefully that'll help, but thankfully we are partially funded by the school. That makes me happy.

That's even better, now you have a steady source of income and will have two outside funds specifically for the tournament.

well guys i have officially decided, after i sell off my vic and cocker, im going to finish my empire 1 project and then hang it on the wall next to my storm for those rare days i actually do go out to the field. Theolor scheme is going to be sick, and will be more widely liked then the scheme i went with on my storm. So tomorrow is when sell threads go up hope to sell fast so im not waiting around forever lol. Also going to cross my fingers that i dont get to wrapped up into this again as i cant afford it lol

I'm going to try something new and exciting with my Vice for practice this Sunday!

I've been pretty conservative with the dwell and LPR pressure. My dwell was at 8 m/s and my LPR was at about 70 psi. Well, I did a little bit of tuning. First I dropped the dwell down to the stock 6 m/s. Then I slowly lowered the LPR until it started to lose a little velocity. I got it down to a little bellow 50 psi. Then I raised the LPR to where it is now at about 55-60 psi. The last thing I did was slightly increase the pressure on my HPR.

When I go to the field on Sunday, the first thing I'm going to do is bring that guy over to the chronograph. If it's really inconsistent I'll raise the LPR just a little bit. But I'm hoping it's still pretty consistent. If those settings work, that's going to be one fucking nice shooting Vice.

What do you all think of the upgrades thus far? Power trigger, low pro pin, and techt bolt. The techt bolt came with the gun so I left it in there, it does nothing as far as I can tell.
My next upgrade is to get a new anodizing! Everybody and there dog had a black and red g6r so I think Ima have the first blood splatter g6r!

I doubt it will be the first blood splatter G6r, but it will still be nice. I'm not a huge G6r fan, but that trigger looks nice.

Have you considered using a base color for the bloodsplatter other then silver? It seams like every bloodsplatter gun is silver and red, I think using a different base color may look really cool.

I was thinking black would look awesome, maybe a titanium, though I'm not sure how that would look with bloodsplatter.

I love it. I've got long arms and a normal 68/45 tank without a shim is a little too short which puts my fingers at a slightly larger angle than most people. So this feels perfect to me and I don't have to have a longer setup. Not saying it would only feel comfortable to people with long arms but that's my reasoning.

That's definitely very interesting. I'm running the standard scythe style trigger, critical magnetic, in my Vice right now. I like it.

I'd like to be able to shoot someone's marker for a day though that has that type of style to it. Very interesting indeed.

Power triggers are amazing. They make a sythe style trigger too. But it prolly would'n be much different than your trigger. I did notice there was much less side to side play over the stock trigger.

It might be a little heavier, but I have my magnet tension down quite a bit so it's not bad.

I didn't want a violent trigger because it's delrin and can't be anno'd. The critical triggers are nice. I've used them. The power triggers are noticeably lighter than stock, and if I was to guess lighter than critical triggers. (Not to mention cheaper.)

The reason I was looking into a critical is because of the adjustable tension which the violent doesnt have. Im just contemplating if its that much better than the stock.

Power Triggers

Critical Triggers
$50 not shipped
3 adjustable points
Magnetic return

Violent Trigger
$37.50
Delrin

Personally Idc about the adjust-ability. Your number one priority should be the shape. You can put a magnetic kit on any of them (Critical comes with one). All of them are gonna have less side to side play than stock. I don't like violent triggers because there plastic. If I decide to anodize my gun I don't want to be stuck with that trigger. I've owned all three. And I like power triggers best just because of the shape and lightness. I can't say it's any lighter than the critical thou but I don't like the shape of the critical. It's up to you but no matter what you get LOCK TITE THE SET SCREWS IN. I had a horror story from this weekend. My screw kept backing out that hit the micro switch and my gun would quit firing.

Though I have heard good things about the Power triggers, the saber looks a little dramatic for me, and the kodachi also seems a little different. I think I may end up with the critical, I really like the adjust-ability of it compared to the others.

I'm no gun guro but seems like its the poppet. You've got a broke oring somewhere either on the poppet or on the ram sleeve. Replace orings, lube with dow 55 don't lube the cup seal.

What are your pressures set at? Seems like your LPR is very low judging how you could slide your bolt back an fourth. As far as the bolt moving side to side, thats completely normal.

It's good I would suggest editing it a bit more. Like cut the first 18 seconds out. And a little more in between points. Just to get it as short as possible while giving the most footage possible. But I'm no videographer or youtuber...

Yeah I did cut out quite a bit of the original footage. It was originally like 11 minutes long, but you're right, I think next time I'll make the start and stop points right when the point starts and right when I'm out, respectively.

Yeah, that would be pretty sick, or try getting different angles instead of only having it on your gun. You could do a lot of different things with just the camera you have now and make some sick videos. On an unrelated subject, I has a new paint shooter today.

I was using a Contour. Hmmmmm that might be a good idea. It might take longer to make though because I'll need a looooot more footage in order to make a highlights video. Maybe I'll save that idea for my first NCPA tournament ;)

What do you haz?

Thanks guys. Honestly, in my opinion, it depends on your editing style. If your going to have choppy editing with a lot of fast and slow motion, a dubstep song would match nicely. However, if your going to just have unedited clips where your just showing trimmed down whole games an alternative or hip song would match better.
