So, taking price and everything into account, would an Etek 3 LT be better or worse than a GI Nano for .50 cal?

I'm looking to get into .50 cal to test the waters, but I'm kind of worried about it dying and being stuck with a worthless gun.

Price and market stability all point to the Etek. At worst, it costs the same to get it + the .50 kit (if you get the AM. If you get the LT and kit, it's $100 cheaper than the Nano), and if you decide .50 cal isn't your thing, you've still got the Etek and can go back to .68 with it.

i'd say its better to get the PE kit because if 50 cal does tank then youre only out at most $150 instead of like $750 or however much the nano is

I say etek and the kit, and if you like it, sell the etek and get the nano

I would get the ETEK 3 LT because you will not use 50cal that much because 50cal paint is hard to find.

yea the only thing better about the gi is that it looks neat (reminds me of a luxe ) but the etek is def better b/c (to my knowledge, please corrrect me if im wrong) you can switch between 50 and 68 cal

Yeah, the only thing is if you like 50 cal then you want the nano because it's much better for just 50 cal

Also the gi milsim micro works too, not terribly expensive for what it is...but that all depends on your budget of course. IMO if you have a field that carries .50 cal and you really get in to it, buy the nano. Before even buying an .50 cal markers or parts, try using .50 first and see if you like it.
