Alright then I'll keep the lower tube stock. Thanks for the info guys.

i am going to be doing tech on cockers for the site i write for, paintballtech.net... if there is anything you guys want to see or have questions on, let me know, and i will see wabout putting them in my articles and walk throughs

I'd like to know how to set up and balance the valve and hammer springs. That's the only thing that I don't really know how to do with cockers.

Took me quite a while to get it cleaned. I got it up and running today, although I do have to fix a minor blowback issue. Just gotta get my tanks refilled. Here are some pictures!

One of the things I thought when I read this was: "Did Brass Eagle ever make a cocker?"

suction timing, timing for efficiency and timing for quietness, etc.

suction timing is something i am not even going to touch on as i see it as a "cocker myth".... i've shot "suction timed" cockers and they didnt shoot any faster or feed any better... so, if you are patiently waiting for anything related to suction timing from me, you are going to be waiting for a very very long time

^^ make sure your hammer lug is releasing toward the top on the solenoid travel. Use good fresh batteries, this is key with any eblade.

most rams can achieve +15 cps. I can hit 18 on my eblade with on qevs. Does the ram move freely back and forth with no binding?
Check basic timing and then you may have to talk to the oracles on the customcockers forum.

How would they become untimed. As long as the setcrews are locked down, it shouldn't happen, no?

Derp. I meant articles, but my system x pump when I'm dry firing with no air, basically just cocking it to oil the pump arms it feels like it comes untimed.

I dont necessarily believe suction timing is a myth ive done it before or a least i strongly believe i did granted you dont get some aww inspiring vacuum effect but it does make for zero ball hop which is nice, but then again proper timing could do that too i suppose :\ ah well anyway tuning for extremely quiet shots, high efficiency, speed, etc would be cool.

Or tech articles on common home DIY tips for cockers

no updates to speak of, its sitting on the shelf right now. Lubed the lpr, that didnt help. adjusted the hammer till it didnt catch at all, then back the other way, and couldnt get any better results than when I first started.

What is a mq valve?

An MQ valve is an electropneumatic poppet valve that replaces the traditional hammer/valve/sear system on an autococker.

I bought another Karnivor :/ a "pro-edition" this time..

I'm missing the original reg + barrel though.. Which is annoying even though the reg it came with was a aka 2liter.

If anyone would happen to know someone that has these parts, I'd be happy :)

Dust black karni-reg with the yellow ring on it.. Kaner-back(black) with yellow tip.
