Hi,

I'm looking for the strongest adhesive, looking to NEVER remove what I am gluing and I want it to be able to withstand a fair amount of psi pushing at it. Don't ask, long story. From what I hear, loctite red is pretty much the strongest out there, but I know nothing about adhesives so does anyone have any pointers?

Loctite isn't really an adhesive like superglue...

yeah loctite isn't an adhesive. but use red for permenent bonding of pressure vessels.
The ultimate truth in paintball is that the interaction between the gun and the player is far and away the largest factor in accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

And yes, Gordon is the sexiest manifestation of "to the front."

red loctite is pretty much as close as you can get to a strong bond other then welding.

You're going to have to give us a much better description of what you're trying to glue together, and what direction it's going to be glued together. Red Loctite will not hold pressure, and it will not glue two surfaces together. Red Loctite is designed to prevent two things from unscrewing from each other. Even the strongest epoxies won't glue two things together under high pressure.

I need to bond something back into a hole since it just snapped. It will be bonded horizontally, i have around 1 cm2 of surface area I can apply the adhesive on. It will have to withstand 100 - 200 psi, it doesn't have to be airtight since there's already an oring on the thing that snapped off; right now it doesn't leak but there's only so much force my finger can push into the area lmao, have to run the hpr at a low pressure right now because again my finger haha.

Can you be a little more specific on what you broke? Gluing two flat surfaces together won't provide a strong enough bond to act as a pressure vessel. Post a picture if you could.

That's not really 1400 lbs worth of adhesion.

Guys don't be jerks about it. He came here asking for help. We can help him but it just takes a bit more info than he's given us so far.

oh god, I think I just figured it out - he broke an LPR off of his FEP quest. If that's what happened, honestly just get a new LPR and find a way to remove the threads from the old one.

i wouldn't glue anything on my gun that has to hold pressure. specially if there are replacement parts available. if you really did break your lpr off then just buy a new one.
