Hey guys haven't posted in a while. Can any one fill me in as to what's going on?

Also I had to get rid of my DX for something else sadly due to time constraints.

What did I get you ask? I think I'll let the pics speak for themselves:

I'll try but it's really limiting when you live in an apartment. Can disturb your neighbors or management. Hopefully I can sneak one in w/o them noticing.

But yeah it's like the vx bolt w/o the metric orings.

Also like usual, it's compatible with the VP trigger.

akt... how does the back of the grip frame feel on the GT vs. the VX? supposedly the GT is rounded off and feels a lot better. is this true? that was my only beef about the VX.. that back grip frame was so blocky and uncomfortable.

yah im getting a silver/aqua.

Yes it's definitely noticiable:

here's a few comparisons (left is VX, right is GT):

The more rounded edge does gives the gt a thinner and more ergonimic fit imo.

Unfortuanately this brings up my biggest gripe so far: the grips.

IMO they're a downgrade to the vx grips. It has a very hard and plastic-like feeling but it's still better than the dx grips.

For an emphasis w/ ergonomics, I can't believe they screwed up this part up despite the other improvents. The weird looking hpr for example was designed for better gripping and stability, which I can attest to in agreement.

Thankfully they're interchangeable and after doing that all I can say is "wtf macdev, why didn't you put THESE grips stock?

Then again the clone wrap section in the official site says "sold out" so maybe macdev might have some issues on it. Hopefully they stock up again so I can purchase them.

One thing I do like about the rx/clone grips though, is that they get much softer as you break em in. Dye grips are my favorite so far though..

can't argue with that. Dye and even PE grips are much better than any of macdevs attempts so far.

mine is truly meant to be... the owner of the shop where i bought it from grabbed one....then changed his mind saying.. "i should grab a lower serial number, I'm sure Chris would love that."

and it just so happened the serial # is the same as my son's birthday.

All right let me get this out of the way:

I created some quick comparison vids. I wanted to try and answer how the gt compares to the vx sound wise. I don't usually do this so forgive me if it isn't up to standard; I'd rather let more involved people do it better and I was more concern with the time frame.

Also forgive my setting: I live in an apartment and support myself with work and study. Since i wanted to do this on short notice and my choice of avenue is limited, I had to make due. I understand I have to make a better one but with my the way management acts, I gotta be careful.

I'll try to get to a field to do this well eventually but with LL5 around the corner, I want to prepare for that since I've been busy the last few months.

Also forgive my breathing because I had a cold this time.

GT Shooting:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SW4z2_XL6P4

VX Shooting:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tV9X7vDYs4U

Also what you might be thinking: you could have shot the gt longer. I know, but I ran into this issue with my asa:

Posted Image

Since it was late and I didn't want to bother anymore, I stopped there. Again I'll try to make a better vid if I have time.

Feel free to ask any questions and I'll try to answer them.

When you work and study, you don't have that much time anymore. That said I gotta keep my interest in pb up and there's no better way than to be a gun whore at this junction.

But yeah, I just have to make sure a few things are fully ok before I sign up for LL5. I'm definitely not gonna miss that. In fact I'm renting a car to make sure I don't have any troubles in getting there.

I just wish I can find some stock 240 smoke nose cones again Posted Image.

From what I understand about using different kinds of orings, they just wear out less quickly than your usual BN 70 rings. I've yet to hear someone get noticiable performance changes on a macdev marker just by switching types. At best you can say they take care of some sealing issues, but it's mostly with orings that are metric.

Also because of the o-ring composition, you might have re-break in your marker even longer.

Sadly I don't like the rotor.

I've had more jams in one game with it than both prophecies or the pinokio.I'd still take it over most like the V-max for example.
