I'm working a Huge cocker project, so far I have 2 parts. I will post my finished cocker when I'm done. I will also post a cocker log on the void warrenty section.

So far I have:
Karnivor body(soon to be turtle blocked) serial No.0037(god I love the low number)
and a Planet eclipse Nexus ram.

Its going to be sic.
I have a cocker I built already, I will post a pic when I can.

Tipp98ChopShop i was just wondering what modifications you made to fit the star frame onto your cocker... anything special?
I have actually been looking into doing it myself i picked up an 05 star frame all i need is the board, i was also wondering if it was an 05 or 06 frame that i needed.

Yeah you don't want to overbore a cocker that's for sure. I use an all American on my 2004, pretty sure its .689, it shoots money. I'd say .687-.689 is where you wanna be.

But hey I still haven't tried underboring.

Yeah it sucks im not playing front like i want to. I have to play back so i dont waste paint. It's pretty much shoot put my at the end of the barrel get the rolling out paint put it into the hopper and shoot twice at someone. Problem is they see me shoot at them and duck back into the bunker = /. Whats the bore of a stock 07 ego? Anyone know?

but if your feild paint was small and your bore big youd be getting rollouts/barrel breaks galore.

hmm thats weird because if you were getting rollouts with, I assume, a smaller bore and not with an even bigger bore you were either shooting cheap inconsistent paint or different types of paint.

I'm not sure about the original 05 Ego, but the 06 came with a .693, and the 09 still today, comes with a .693. I'm pretty sure that's their standard. BL is .691, Dye is .692, and Eclipse is .693. Haha that also happens to be the descending order in which I favor those companies.

I love it to bits cause well I've had it for as long as I can remember and it still works like a charm I threw a cp reg and cp one piece on it and it shot +/- 5(2 shots +6) over 500 rnds(not enough paint for a test but I think thats pretty good) will also post pics hehehe :)

Nice karni, the olive looks amazingly really good!

I'm working on a midgeted, minnied body right now. It was an ugly anno so I am hand polishing it (damn anno is hard stuff!) will post pics soon.

I suppose I qualify. Don't think I can do ALL my pics or guns though, i suspect theres an image limit on here. Anyway, heres a few group shots to see if i make it in.

my latest living room bookshelf showcase picture (I change it around every so often):
Posted Image
very top is a Sat cong Village sniper 1
next row is an Eclipse Aurora and a Nestle/Wiggitt custom
next is JD from Wildside's "Ride the Lightening" resto project and Carter team cocker that I can't post better pics of the scrimshaw work on here or i'd be banned i think.
Next row is a Palmers full custom and a Spanky Graveyard
and the bottom is a revenge V2 LE in Jurassic goo and a P&P Super Cocker LE

Posted Image
With the exception of the Evo X (which wasn't out yet), this would have been a VERY expensive group shot in the late 90's. Brand new, twisters tended to have run around $1500 (not the lite version), and its the cheapest of those four by a decent margin. Now, you can't hardly give em away ;)
Top Boston Twister and BBT Westwood, 2nd row PMS Mark II and the P&P Supercocker LE again and on the bottom a mere Evolution X.

Posted Image
My revenge collection, V2 LE, V1 and V3

I gotta throw out a couple of singe shots and call it a day:

Nice collection Wolf. Looks like you are a big fan of the slide trigger. I remeber those triggers in the past, back when it took talent to shoot fast! How long did it take you to get that collection might I ask?

Yeah, I am a fan of sliders. I literly cannot shoot a hinge with any degree of ability, a hinge in my hands is a blender, I spent too much time on sliders i think. the KPCS and the aurora are the the only hinge cockers currently in my collection. I've been trying to get more comfortable with them, but it hasn't been happening and that one is likely to revert to its pump form by SPE next spring. I actually got bored with electro's and burned out for a while on the whole game. To get back in I ended up going back to playing just for fun, and cockers were a big part of it. Even the few tourny's i've played in the past few years i've shot mech cockers (although in one case, i actually shot a differnt one every single game just because i could). I have a few e-cockers, but they aren't the conventional ones so much. I really started collecting about 5-6 years ago, but had laid the ground work even before that. It was only after my last big burn out that I focused on it and relized hey, cockers are getting cheap, i can finally try out all these old monsters I could never afford when they were new and I was young.

I sell off a few disappointments now and then, and occassionaly part with one i regret selling, but mostly i try to follow certain rules and that has kept the numbers down. I break those rules occassionally, but usually i have a pretty solid reason to do it; though those also tend to end up getting resold more often then not. The one exception I do make is for, shall we say historicly interesting ones. Stuff like the wildside restoration, rudy dean, sniper 1, solar and aurora that break one or more rules, but have such a cool history or are just so off the wall cool that i go ahead and do it. I do have shelf sitters, all three of them; everything else not in project stage is fair game for use and does get use.

1. buy only what I want to actually shoot (hinges and eguns fall here, the handful of electro's i have are all oddballs like uprising, sandridge, mark 3 and original race frame that are fun to mess around with)
2. buy only complete, original or near original condition markers (too many project guns and body kits. I got in to try out all these historial ones. replaced parts is a huge turn off for this, as well as major damage like eye holes)
3. never buy solely for looks (oddly enough, this is one i have kept to pretty well though i know its hard to believe)
4. look always for the best quality (when i finally admited it was a collection and that i was going to show it and the history off, I really started to focus on looking for top quality. rare stuff i take what i can get; but common stuff, I admit, i look for cool annos, great condition etc. I just recently picked up a freeflow fulcrum because I kept looking for one that stands out and it took me a long time. fortunatly, most of the rarest finds I have been lucky to find the nicest like the Phase 2 and eyeball)

I love hinge triggers! I can't deal with sliders, i guess thats the difference in the electro generation or autocockers.

I love hinge triggers! I can't deal with sliders, i guess thats the difference in the electro generation or autocockers.

its all what your used to and natrual inclination. that was always the big beef with cockers, probably at least 1/3 of all people simply cannot get a slide trigger down no matter how hard they try, but i am not completly convinced that this isn't really the secound problem in the extreme. another problem is alot of people who don't like sliders have never gotten to try the right slider. sliders are an artform, and can be set up a few differnt ways, and that can have a big effect on an individuals performance. I have found over the years that many slide cockers have terrible trigger jobs, no matter what the owner says. once you get past a terrible trigger pulls though, good sliders tend to fall into two very distinct catagories. a few blend the two styles, but most tend to go towards the extreme. BBT/shockteck/PMS/P&P (the true high ends, not the off the shelf ones, same with shockteck) went for super fast, super lite, short pulls. with these, the pull natrualyl makes you want to fire a super fast burst, great for snap shooting. the flipside was Belsales style, where you had a longer, slightly heavier trigger that calls for a natrual rythem. A lot of backmen prefered these because with the right rythem you can lay constant paint with no effort and without getting tired at a very constant high rof. very differnt styles, and for some people one might be perfect and the other completly wrong. I am lucky in that I can shoot both pretty well, but I am usually more comfortable with the belsales style trigger. there are exceptions that split the differnce, but oddly enough thats probably the hardest trigger job to do well.

Oh you just needed to pm me what number you wanted but alright your number 33. Also would anyone know where I can get custom (extensive) milling done? FBM is never taking any work and all the other milling companies I looked for are no longer in business.
