If you decide to get a Shocker, here are some upgrades to look for:
1. Feedneck (stock feedneck was a cheap stovepipe. make sure it has an aftermarket feedneck.)
2. Board (most early boards were semi-auto only. if you want more modes, get one with an aftermarket board)
3. ASA (not a showstopper, but the stock asa doesn't purge)
4. Reg. (more a matter of convenience since the stock reg works fine but requires a special wrench to adjust properly.
If you give a Shocker some good maintenance, it will never break on you. Hopefully this helps
Using a gun that's been hardly maintained and tossed from person to person more than a village whore is hardly a fair way to compare the marker.
