Ok guy's i've been dabbling into photography but i think it's time to invest in a nice little beginner DSLR i've been looking and have foound that these are somewhat in my price range 450-500 and have come up with these to option #1 My link and option #2 My link or should i look at some used camera's and if so can you give me some names please thanks.

both great entry level cameras.
this is what it'll come down to...
Nikon = pay less for the camera body upfront, pay more for lenses down the road.
Canon = pay more for the camera body upfront, pay less for the lenses down the road.

you can't go wrong either way really, canon = nikon in almost all matters aside from little things that honestly wont matter to you(or effect you) at this point.
