I know the feeling haha. I'm not sure if mine will work, as much as a take them apart and screw around with them I wouldn't doubt if they all leak or something at first lol. I can usually get them shooting at the field though.

I was supposed to play today but its thunder-storming and pouring rain. I hate when a weekend is ruined because of bad weather, I was so bummed.

does anyone know what sweet v's email is?

I stripped the middle frame screw on my Ion (the one in the trigger guard). On a scale of "1 to you're f****d," what am I looking at in terms of getting it fixed? I don't own a dremel, I couldn't find a tapping kit that would fit the screw.

I got my mech kit today.

Edit:
After spending some time putting it in, I just aired it up at it leaked pretty bad, but it still cycled. I guess I'll take it apart and check the hose connections.

Edit Dos:
At first it was a combination of the Tee fittings and a banjo fitting, but now it's just a banjo. The hose seems like it's cut smoothly, but it's almost too short and I'm hesitant on cutting anymore off.

Your banjo fitting may be shot, the other thing that can cause a leak is a kink in the hose, which is my mech ion's problem right now.

find a allen key that will fit put red locktite on the tip of the allan key and simply turn it
then to remove the screw from the allen key use a lighter

Luckily I don't need a new banjo, but instead I need some more yellow hosing for mah Ion.

I managed to get everything to seal correctly but the configuration I had it in was for easy access and when I put everything together as it should go, it leaked from the T fitting.

Lol, look what comment showed up on my mech Ion vid:

congrats you took at gun that can shoot 15bps and turned it into..an automag? I don't understand why. If you like mech guns fine, great, own a classic gun cause they're nostalgic or whatever. but why do this to an ion?

I'm still formulating a proper response that will simultaneously explain my situation and make him look stupid at the same time. :P

Got an ion for almost free.... after all was said and done.
Kept it to make it a loaner but wanted to upgrade some things to make maintenance a bit easier.
Also so I would be happy pulling it out once in a while and using it.

The RPM trigger is great! I'm glad I found one and replaced the CP one. So much smoother and responsive.... almost the same feel as on my ego.
Feels so nice, I have been walking the trigger around the house the past two days :)

Just a before and after shot.

Thanks! But its an AIR-HOG, 500 paintballs, 3000PSI gone, its horrendous. Any idea what I can be? My other (the one I used years ago) SP1 managed get more shots than that.

The battery on the marker was low when I shot the vid, it was also set up for CO2 dwell setting. Tank regulator chucks out 850psi.

The dwell is probably your main problem. Does it have a QEV?

Dwell is tricky on the semi only boards. You have to hold the trigger down and connect the battery to enter the dwell programing. I had to do it for someone at the field and it took like an hour to figure out how to do that lol. turned out the dwell wasn't the problem either, time well wasted.

Other than the dwell, and I guess the qev, I wouldn't know what else it could be. I've only worked on that one sp1 and I didn't even get that one fixed for the guy. It pissed me off.

I have configured it to HPA dwell now. Since its a standard board with semi-only, it has no QEVs, AFAIK.

Edit : Strange, suddenly I can switch between modes now, semi, burst and full-auto. It wouldnt do that before..

I aired up my shocker yesterday and I think that it thinks it's an automag. I had eye malfunction, and when I'd shoot faster than the loader could handle it would just chuff the ball like a mag haha, it never even chopped a ball, not even when I was trying to make it chop. I was impressed by it, think I'll take it off the bst and keep it

Yup, I took down my SFT because I accidentally fell in love... No Shocker has left my hands since...

Using a gun that's been hardly maintained and tossed from person to person more than a village whore is hardly a fair way to compare the marker.
