Good to see they are using the seatbelt material like the elevation series NXe...that stuff is insanely strong/durable.

I tried the original one on at DC Challenge, and it was very light and very comfortable, but I didn't like the straps that held the pods in place.. I'll just stick with my NXe, I don't have money for a new pod pack anyway Posted Image

and plus, it doesn't look like they did much other then make it bulkier....

idk, the back kinda reminds me of a sly pack in the sense that its "padded" and i dont like that, so ill stick to my V1 thank you very much :)

As etekgirl27 says, it is also the best pack i've used (the v1 that is). Very minor adjustment imo.

I'll probably get it, when my current pack poops out on me.

Seems pretty coolio.

The video was a little dumb though, if you *really* needed to be stealthy with a nor,al, you could of just put the pods in the extra straps, and not in the velcro though, OR he could of reloaded before he went for the dive.

Are proto pods good for it?

Yes that is all I use in it currently are the new Proto Pods.

Well I also have the v1 and I'm sure the v2 will also be able to handle them fine.

this. i would actually reccomend proto pods for the Critical because regular pods might slip out from the pack, or shoot out if your not careful with them.

Well I just mine yesterday and will begin the testing and see what the real differences are in feel and use on the field. Initial review is it looks like an improvement on a good thing.

Also yes you can use regular pods and all the way to Proto or the Angel Fatboys, not too sure about the Dye Locklids or Pinokio pods. But I do not believe either will fit.

I have the V1 version, haven't had any issues with it yet. I did notice some light seam tearing around the elastics nothing major. From what I understand the V2 is the same pack they just did a double stitch over the areas of concern that I have on my own pack.
