Anyone remember those old, heavy powerfeed Automags? The ones where you twisted the barrel 1/4 turn, and slid it out? I just realized those barrels would be great for breech loading without modification of the barrel or body.

Going to work on this idea and see how it goes..

I will laugh as they overwhelm our enemies in a flurry of spotted banana hammocks.

I'd say Tiberius guns would be good for this with their twist-lock barrels, but if you're using a Tibby to barrel load individual rounds, you're doing something wrong.

It would also be good for clearing barrel breaks in the field. Quite frankly, there is no practical reason (that I can think of) why cocker threads should have beaten out twist lock.
