So what exactly happened with it? I'm not hearing that much any more about it, but I l know that stores are still carrying the paint, and the loaders and markers, but is it growing at all?

Feel free to put up any thoughts of your own.

Here's the thing...

.50 cal is basically saying "Hey, you know that $1000 gun and loader combo you have? Yea, throw it away, and buy more super expensive gear"

Amazing it didn't catch on.

Its downsides outweighed its uses for the average paintballer. It'll probably always be around, but in the same way that first strike rounds are used: not by very many people and not as an everyday use.

It never really caught on, its great for laying down lanes but is it worth buying 600 or more dollars worth of gear? no

Viagra, lubricant, and pornographic movies? If that package arrived at my house, I'd be calling a babysitter and making reservations at the Marriott
