can anyone tell me the differences with these markers? they are just so vastly different in price range, I'm scared to get a V2 with gold bolt... any help would be great.

The first clones (V1 and V2) would shred orings in the bolt assembly, the updated Clone VX has fixed this problem, so if you can get a cheap clone V1 or V2 you can buy a VX drivetrain and it will perform exactly like a VX. The gold bolt improves efficiency and reduces kick and makes the sound signature quieter (alot quieter actually)

Hope this helped

The V1 was first released and was Macdev then found out that the middle valve oring was getting shredded by the valve keg, so they released the V2 valve keg. This fix it, some what. Some V2 had the exact same problem. The VX has stopped that i due believe completely. I havnt heard of any oring shredding caused by the VX drive train. I have had a V1, V2, and VX clone, all separate guns, and none of them had the oring shredding problem. So it is kind of hit and miss. If you can get a V2 for cheap, go for it. if you can get a V1 for cheaper, go for that also. Hope i helped.
