Kind of going back and forth on the 2. I like the Kaos cause it has all the goodies that come with it (Hitman Mod, box, it's an Azodin, allen keys.)

But i don't really know much about the trilogy, which would you suggest?

I might take the Trilogy as you could make it an autococker if you wanted.

Personally I would also pick the autococker..

But in your situation it would be better to buy brand new so you have the manual, Hitman Mod, box, warranty, allen keys like you said.
My friend has the 2011 Azodin KP he loves it, it is a good gun that is easy to maintain

If you start to like playing pump you can always upgrade

I don't know WHY they work, but they outperform anything on the market hands down...and they're MADE IN AMERICA.

I want a gun that works straight out of box, with all the goodies that It comes with, If I buy a used trilogy chances are I'm getting just the gun and barrel. I'll probably end up buying a used kaos.

Im in the same boat, and I'm leaning toward a kaos pump. Thing like orings, hex keys, and easy hitman mod are appealing, and since I'm very familiar with the spyder platform and not so much with cockers, maintence will be second nature for me.

Problem, the only KP on our BST was sold,

I guess I could try a trilogy. If I don't like it I could always sell it again and a KP.

But from what I hear, it's pretty nice :D

The trilogy will be quieter, and have more options for it. Unless you want to get a Prostock or something, then you'll have a TON of options.

Pump stroke: Kaos
Reliability: Trilogy IMO (My friends kaos has been a pain somedays)
Resale: Trilogy, seems like KP's go for $50 less than they were bought for.
Weight: Kaos pump, but I think my Trilogy is lighter :P
Efficiency: Pretty close, but I only really have experience with the Trilogy.

Thats all I really can think of...haha

Go to your local Pro shop and talk to the guys that work there!

They will tell you EVERYTHING you need to know about what ever gun you are thinking about buying along with all the maintenance and other gear you need

Again I would not recommend a used Autococker or a Trilogy to a person that is new to pump (Or has no knowledge, tools, regular gear to maintain their current marker)

That is not a given.. You might need to adjust the gun and or fix leaks and other minor problems

Why wouldn't you?

They are better guns IMO.

yea, a sniper wont have anything really to maintain. You don't really need orings cause they rarely go bad, and all the "scary autococker timing" and stuff, you dont have to deal with on a pump. The trilogy is def better.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE snipers I agree with you G4paintballer 100%... I would buy 7 of them in a heart beat... Buy again this guy should buy brand new because he sounds so un-sure about what gun to get.. If he already owned a electro or another marker that he took very good care of and maintained it regularly like you and me are capable of doing I would say go buy a used auto cocker and add CCM pump kit and all that jazz

IMO he needs to get off of the forums and talk to somebody in person so they can answer all of his questions

I don't know WHY they work, but they outperform anything on the market hands down...and they're MADE IN AMERICA.

Trillogy:

Pros - its a cocker
- its cheap (you can find a decent one for 100)
- its reliable
- little to no maintenance

Cons - Out of the box, the pump stroke sucks
- not many aftermarket pump kits available
- very featureless. no reg, no on/off, crappy trigger, non-adjustable feedneck, crappy barrel

Kaos: (assuming you get the LE edition for 20 bucks more)

Pros - Lots of great features out of the box. Reg, on/off, single trigger, adjustable feedneck, half decent barrel
- Great pump kit, with hit man

Cons - its a spyder
- less reliable
- more maintenance

Why do people keep saying to talk to some one local for better info? That doesn't make sense.

I've got a trilogy pro with pump kit and a ton of upgrades.

I had the trilogy when I decided to try pump so it was the obvious choice for me. If I started over I would probably get the KP then if I need something better I would purchase a nice pump instead of dropping money for upgrades.

Mostly I think it depends on what you want down the road. If you want to upgrade the trilogy I think that is the way to go. Stock vs stock I would personally pick up the kp.

I wouldn't say that the KP being based off the Spyder design discredits it. My KP has been pretty worry-free for me. Just get some thick lube and coat the ever-loving snot out of the valve o-rings and you're set.

I will admit, though, it annoys me that I have to remove the entire trigger frame to slide out the internals when I do clean it. I've never shot a Trilogy pump, but I can definitely say that I'm happy with the KP.

Maybe the weight of it would be my only complaint.

I just sold it :D, sorry lol

If you don't know much about autocockers then I would go with the azodin kp

If you were willing to wait Symptonz I would have bought it for more then you sold it for, but you sold it before I could make a better offer.

I don't have any pro-shops in orlando, it sucks. I think that I'm going to go get the KP I don't own an electro, and all I've had was a tippmann, (Which I'm selling atm.)

I have no idea about autocockers, and to be honest. I don't even know how to maintence the azodin marker, can't you just slide the bolt out and lube it like any ordinary spider? Or is there any other stuff I need to do?

I'm a complete noob when it comes to knowing how to clean a gun I haven't used.

In my honest opinion. I think a autococker is easier to maintain. I own a Spyder and a Autococker. They are both easy to maintain, but I will give it to the Autococker.

How do you clean an autococker?

With a spyder What could be easier then just popping out the bolt putting on lube and popping it back in?

Is there anything else I need to clean?

All regular gun maintenance, clean, lube, shoot. It is not complicated or special with an Autococker

Everyone says Autococker because of personal opinion, it is solely up to you to make the choice between the two

Trilogys dont take much maintainence coz there not 'proper cockers', but personally i'd go with the kaos, as i have shot both trilogy and kaos, in my opinion the kaos is a much smoother shooting gun and as said there really easy to maintain and so easily upgradeable :D
