So i had my tank in hand and i went to put on my fill nipple cover and i pushed it down on to the fill nipple i heard a noise and then my fill nipple cover fell off i think it was some air coming out of the fill nipple or something. I have never put anything in my fill nipple before like oil or lube. I was just wondering if this was normal or has happened to anyone

If the tank is low on air the fill nipple may not seal, this is normal and as soon as u fill it again above 300 psi it will not happen

awesome. This is why I love techpb. Had the same exact problem today. Is this something that will break-in over time? My old tank didn't do this.... I'm not worried about keeping the 300PSI, I don't want to lose my fill nipple cover.

Sorry but it will not break in as the o ring we use is very hard and designed to last longer and seal better with high pressure but the draw back is that it does not do well at 300 or less.
