I just found a headless knight ghost riding around.

I don't think I'm ever using fast travel again.

That sounds awesome. This game actually makes me WANT to just wander around the wilderness, just to see all the random stuff they threw into the game. Oblivion was just kind of like "Ok, lets traipse through the woods. Kill a bear, kill some daedra. Oh, heres the next city..." But Skyrim is like "Lets go climb a moun-OH SHIT GIANT CAMP! Run Run Run Run Run Phew, that was clo- OH SHIT, DRAGON!"

What kinda builds have a number of you gone with?

I have tried nearly every build I can think of. Orc with warhammer, Wood elf archer/assassin. Red guard dual wielder. Nord warrior. High elf mage. Breton everything.

I just keep coming back to my Breton conjurer. Built similarly to the "Wall Mage" build I detailed a couple of pages back, except instead of block, and destruction, I am using conjuration, alteration, and restoration.

... ha

Hahahaha, That's awesome.

I will laugh as they overwhelm our enemies in a flurry of spotted banana hammocks.

Ive put in like 3-4 hours... Im level 5, Nord warrior build... I use healing magic a lot though. I just quit playing like 10 minutes ago when I got raped by my first Giant. The dragons (so far) have been super easy to kill. The health bar system is really the only thing I have a problem with. I'm running a PS3 and don't have any lag issues, yet. Is there anyway to look at quest updates like you could in Oblivion? the Journal isnt very descriptive...

Lmao. Don't worry, I'll let you guys catch up today. I'm going to spend a few hours working on my car. :P

Edit: And to put into perspective how many different characters I have tried out, my original and highest level character (Lvl 19 Breton Conjurer) only has 17.5 hours on it.

I have around 24 hours in my level 25 Nord.

Around 7 in my level 7 Dark Elf.

The only major quests I have done has been the Companions quest line with my Nord. Other than that I have just been running around doing minor quests and find random stuff to do. :)

Spoiler on location of Dragon Shout I ran across. Ethereal shout.

Yeah, if you don't know how to do it, it is... If it helps you any, Find yourself a Dwemer ruin, and loot every machine you come across. Use your follower as a pack mule for most of it, because it is some heavy shit. Take it all back to Whiterun, and use their smelter to melt it all down into the metal blocks you use to forge with. Buy a bunch of iron blocks, and start making Dwemer bows (2 dwemer blocks, 1 iron block). Each one sells for about 90 gold so from the 500 or so that you spent on iron blocks, you can still turn 2000 profit.

Been using this with my conjurer to crank out some gold to buy new robes and spell books with. He has about 14k of gold right now. :D

I had 30 but then spend about 23 of them re-building a Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary.
And I just did another two contacts, a tanner and a market shopkeeper. :D

The tanner got an arrow through his skull from about 100yards while the shopkeeper had a close up meeting with my dual swords while sleeping.
I hit that fucker so hard he flew through the bed and is currently residenting underneath it.

I started it some time ago, never finished though, I got dragged into it while doing a contract for the Dark Brotherhood.
I think I'll take a little break from assasination for now, finished with all the side contracts and only some night-mother ones left.

I just took over an Imperial fort instead. So yeah, I'm doing the Stormcloak storyline.
And I plan to do some main story quests in between aswell.

Then after that, I think I'll start to do all these small quests I've been picking up along my travels, and It's a pretty handfull of them too.

Drexler, your right, the game runs like shit on the PS3, but at least my hands doesn't hurt.

Console controllers make my hands cramp up after about 45 mins. Keyboard and mouse are much better on the hands. At least for me. But I HATE using WASD. I agree that holding the W button all the time can start to cause problems, but I dont use WASD. I use a Cyborg Command Unit, so that I can use an analog stick for movement, and the mouse for aiming. Much better on the hands.

In my opinion, nothing like slacking on the couch with just a lightweight controller in your hands.

To bad it isn't the best for online FPS and RTS games, or else I'd never use a computer.

My chair isn't the reason it's more stress for my hands with a keyboard and mouse.

Depends on the office chair. :P I can get it to line up perfectly when reclined, and with the arm rests all the way up to the table, I can almost lay completely, and have my arms supported all the way up to my mouse and gamepad.

Don't worry, its really easy.

Yea... mammoths and giants are tougher to fight than dragons.

Man... Tons of troll hate. I have yet to find the Troll that was even remotely difficult. Mammoths and Giants are where it is at. And some Storm Witch I fought as well, in this castle with Sanguine. (people that have done the "prankster" quests will know who he is) That Storm Witch or wizard, or whatever it was screwed me up badly. Which is odd, because the magic users usually dont do that much damage. I finally took her my third try, but just rushing her and keeping her spells locked down with my shield bash.
