Grandpas paintball

It is paintball not mini golf... I hope this place goes under

I don't know WHY they work, but they outperform anything on the market hands down...and they're MADE IN AMERICA.

Look at their videos. How the hell are you supposed to ref from that tower? It would be so easy to cheat.

And watch the second video
"did I hit you?"
"Uhhh I dunno"
"I'll check for you"
What?

Although it is pretty cool that you can rent a gun camera.

Yeah that is cool, I am tempted to go over there when it is open play... Just to see how much they really know

It is a nice change of pace from normal airball/ hyperball. I work there and really enjoy playing there, and there are refs on the ground just like everywhere else. The field paint is Nelson Nelsplat which is a very good competition grade paint and the chrono is at 250 because taking a shot at 300-310 would hurt like a bitch from 5 feet away. And yes Grandpa himself calls markers "slingers" because he is just old fashioned like that

nelson paint is some of the worst crap around. I thought i had it rough playing with gi-milsim at gatsplat 2 weeks ago.
... 250 chrono... that blows. you could throw it faster than that.

if you only play for the sting then just stay home and cut yourself, save some cash.

all i am saying is that you should not give a place an unfair judgment for no reason. It is helping the sport grow and that is all that matters

I agree.

As for the bios of the staff, looks like Grandpas been playing forever....played with Bob Long ffs. I see nothing wrong with them wanted to build a nice atmosphere in their paintball community.

exactly, it is a great environment for beginners to go and not feel overwhelmed or intimidated by more experienced players

Now why would you want a paintball field to go under? Isn't the goal of paintball right now to spread it to new players? At grandpa's thats exactly what happens. Kids come and play and they love it I always have parents and kids coming up to me asking what they should buy and getting my advice. Grandpas is one of the only fields where people can experience a cqb field. As far as staff goes we hold our own grandpa actually owned a big field in san Antonio in the early 90s and just wanted to bring it back, he has been in the sport for decades and still plays. Just because the field doesn't show they have teens working there doesn't mean people don't know what they are doing. I advice all the nay sayers to come out at try it, I promise you'll like it.
