Am I alone on loving the editing and composition on this picture? This might be one of my favorites that I've taken.

It's ok, the saturation of colour on the bunker isn't something I'm fond of

Isn't that circled area on the bunker caused by saturating the colour? or by Boosting the colour?

That's a normal bunker who has paint and the millennium logo on it. The shitty bokeh is from the Tamron lens, not any editing.
I desaturated the blue in this picture, so I haven't boosted any colors at all.

Yeah, what you gonna do?
I might try and get a Sigma 70-200 though. Anything must be better than this.
Or I'll wait and purchase a used Nikon 70-200 f/2.8 VR.

nice photos chris.
What do you guys think,
D3200 18-55, and a 50 1.8 G (total = $1130)
or
D3100 18-55, 50 1.8 G (total = $900)
I'm thinking the D3100 would be better cause then I can buy some other not needed, but good to have (lens hood and stuff).
the other thing is that their is a photography show coming up and I might be able to get a D80 for $300, only problem is not video mode...

Blade of grass - Thank you :) The d7000 is a very nice camera and is what I will be getting before the end of the summer. You will still get very nice pictures even with the kit lens until you can get alittle extra money for the 50.

Nobben, can I get put on the regulars list?

And I think that I'm going to go to my local camera store and hold all three cameras (D3200, D3100, D7000). I'm probably not going to get the D7000 thought.... unless I feel the need/fall in love with that camera.

The D7000 is perfect on every apect except that it's not a full Magnesium construction and only a APS-C sensor.
Love mine to death, even with the D3 as my main camera. Full frame is just way to nice.

I've got over 1000 pictures today. And I suspect I'll get even more tomorrow.
The Tamron lens seems to have redeemed itself quite well, judging my the preview my camera can offer the pictures look sick. And focusing was not a problem.

I took a look at my sensor today. There is some scary stains on my sensor that doesn't show up on the images.
And there is an anti-alias filter so I don't thing the stains actually do anything. But still, scary shit.

It was not taken in a disrespectful way, it was taken to honor the men and women who have served in the military. My grandfather is also buried there, I was dropping off flowers for him when I took that picture.
