What forums? Bioware's Mass Effect forums?

Why bother with reading the forums? I somehow managed to get through both games without ever visiting them. I wouldn't let some internet people dissuade you from playing some awesome games.

Yep. If you like sci-fi, then Mass Effect is pretty much all you could want in a sci-fi game. It has a great central mystery, inventive settings, and a deep backstory that slowly gets revealed to you and you can choose to read or skip. It's action-packed, but the story really delivers the thrills. The characters are memorable and the voice acting is spectacular. Mass Effect ends on one of the biggest bangs imaginable, then ME2 takes everything and ramps it up a little more.

Playing through Mass Effect 1, I only have 1 gripe, There's no indicator at all on the map where you're meant to go.

There are indicators to locations of interest.
It's either an X or a flag.

I know that, but it never says which door to go through, or how to get to there. Oh well.

To be honest, I think it's kind of obvious.

But where are you stuck?

Most of the indoor areas are pretty linear, and with enough patience your RV can go pretty much anywhere. I don't recall ever being lost in that game. I wonder where you are getting stuck at?

Not stuck, the combat levels and such are fine. It's just the first time I went to the citadel. I missed a sentence in a cut-scene, and when I checked the journal it said something like "Go to the flux blah blah blah" Looked at every lift, entrance, fast travel station. Just couldn't find it so I had to wander around everywhere trying to find it.

I found it eventually, but it was such a pain.

Well, now you guys sucked me back into ME1. It has aged quite well, but the inventory system is annoying. I am spending too much time in the equipment screens. Given the choice, I would take ME2's system over this.

I don't think DLC is available anymore for ME1 (on the 360). I checked a few days ago and the DLC section seemed to be empty on XBL. That makes me a sad panda.

For reals. I was waiting for her to step over the line and catch a bullet courtesy of Renegade Shepherd. I just don't trust a tattoo-covered emo bitch. Her powers are pretty good if you can strip an enemy's protections down, though.

In my first run, Jack, Tali, and Grunt died. I lost Jack and Tali's loyalty from the arguments they had with Miranda and Legion, but didn't have enough Paragon/Renegade to gain them back. Grunt died because I had Jack keep the biotic barrier up, and he ended up being swept away by the seeker swarm.

Now, I'm making sure only Jack dies.

I felt bad for her at first, but when I did her loyalty mission, I couldn't take her anymore.

She yells at me for being with Cerberus, accusing them of torturing her and the other biotic kids. Then, we find out that Cerberus had little to do with what went on in that place, and she still blindly hated Cerberus. But the final straw was when she started fighting with Miranda. Like, bitch please.

I really loved using the renegade option to shut them both down but still keep their loyalty. My crew better stay in line, I don't have time for this emotional shit.

Yeah, I was really pissed off at the way she took the fact that Shep was working with Cerberus.

"I thought you were better than that, Commander."

"But Ashley, they rebuilt me."

"I don't care, Cerberus is bad."

"They want to take out the Collectors."

"Alliance is in my blood."

"I am fully erect."

"I can't believe you, Commander. I...I just can't."

"Spank me, please."

That's how the conversation went, right?

She's just playing hard-to-get. You know that ME3 is gonna have like 6 different shots of her sideboob. Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

And she was pretty much right, Cerberus is just a bunch of bastards. I mean, I am all for getting the job done by any means necessary, but even my ultra-renegade Shep was a little leery of that robot-eyed weirdo.

Give or take an erection you pretty much nailed it.

Got a level 8 Soldier online. Very fun, only me and my friend though but we still got to the extraction stage. Got absolutely ruined but was good fun. I hope in the full game we don't have to rely on these random crates of items. Because I keep getting things I don't need.

Facial construction sucks in a lot of ways. NHL has a decent one, my character in NHL 12 looks kinda like me.

I played the demo, and I felt as though my FOV was really cut off compared to ME2, maybe it's just me.
Also the way the people sprint. Shepard covered 7 feet in 2 steps, seemed weird.

All I know is I need to play ME1, and then import that character into ME2, and then import that into ME3. I know what happens in ME1, but I'd like to change the outcome in ME2, y'know?
