I'll be there with pistols and hopefully a shiny new Empire sniper. But good question what time does it usually start? And what's the registration process for it since I know LL opens the next day.

I'll be there, not sure if I'll be on the field though for pump/pistol. Last year I think it started around 6. CPX is opening up Wastelands for open play as well if you want to get in on that, that will probably start sometime early afternoon and go pretty much up to when the pump/pistol starts if you want to get a full day in of casual play Friday.

Hmmmm, I may have to get in on this!
In the past couple of years we've seen companies disappear, we've seen teams fall apart, we've seen leagues fail. But we've also seen players humbly return to their "family" teams after enjoying a paid ride of being a hired gun by the highest bidder. We've seen industry gurus come back to the sport after selling off everything they worked so hard to build, only to start over again fresh and new. We've seen this sport suffer along with every other industry due to the current economic conditions, and yet we've seen survival.

There was different paint from the CCM sponsored Pump/Pistol gamed and the LL4 Event

So the Friday pump games will use different paint than the LL5 paint?

Ya, last year we had to buy the paint from the pro-shop. No idea if that was CPX's own paint or if like someone else said what CCM brought. If I remember correctly the shell was different to discourage people from using it Saturday and Sunday, can't remember the fill though.

Allstar White Shell/Fill . It was Included in the LL4 Package (Registration was anywhere from 45-70, depending on pre-reg and what not)

Event registration and check-in opens at 10am. FREE open play in Wastelands start at noon. FREE pump and pistol games in Bedlam start at 6pm.

You MUST be checked in and have your event credentials to participate in these FREE activities.

Both events are event paint only, but there should be special paint available for Friday activities. I am confirming that now and will let you know.

Everyone looked like they were having a blast at it last year, and I kept turning down invites to join the fun in lieu of staying on the job and being available to answer player questions and such. This year I am going to get my ass out there and rock my CCM T2 for a few pump games. I promise I will have someone stationed at Viper Command that can reach me immediately if anyone needs me for anything.

I'm really looking forward to LLV this year (and getting a little bit of trigger-time Friday night)

Specially-colored paint will be available for $50 a case. This paint can only be used for the free Friday activities.

Use of it on Saturday or Sunday will result in ejection, so consider splitting cases with others if you are playing pump/pistol only.

So can we use the Saturday/Sunday paint on Friday, but you can't use the Friday paint on Saturday/Sunday? I won't play the games if I have to commit to another $50 for a case for a few evening games.

That is correct. CPX is simply trying to give you a less-expensive option for the Friday activities. (cause the rock like that)

Like I said earlier split a case four ways and you have 500 rounds of cheaper paint for the pump/pistol games. If you can't afford $12.50 you are in the wrong sport. ;)

Where can it be purchased?

I believe my girlfriend is running with Sky also! She would need a pump as I do not have one. I could have converted my cocker back to a pump, but someone stole it recently.

~LOL~ I would be more then happy to bring extra pumps for cool people like you Sean.
I think at last count at the house I have 4 snipers, 3 trracers, 2 CCMs (T2 & S6.5), and a Thumper. I should have enough room in my bag to have my tech kit, Havoc, Thumper, and 2-3 pumps.
When I get home I will send you a picture of them.
