I'm planning on doing another CO2 gun show of death for another marker not any time soon though as I'm dead broke at the moment. But do tell me what you'd like to see. :)

It needs to be a marker that goes for ~$500 or less used. Guns without macroline are also not candidates for this test.

I'm thinking maybe a DM9, 2010 NT (might be able to afford it by the time I'm looking to buy) or MacDev of some kind. I'd rather not get a Bob Long, for some reason any time I get a Bob Long in my hands and I start tinkering with it it breaks

Original tests: http://www.techpb.co...howtopic=102629

I promise that when I do get around to doing the next test that there will be:
  • An HD camera on a tripod
  • Shooting at least at 280 FPS
  • Shooting until the the setup shoots no more (no more gas, no more paint or a broken gun)

The ultimate truth in paintball is that the interaction between the gun and the player is far and away the largest factor in accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

And yes, Gordon is the sexiest manifestation of "to the front."

Already did an EGO 10, the CSL is the same gun in operation so there's really no point.

Mini = can't because it's macroline-less and I can't add a second regulator to the setup without the use of a remote line. Then there is no shouldering point to the setup which makes it impractical.

G4 = someday perhaps, limited by budget. Probably going to do the NT first.

Luxe = same problem as mini (I guess you could run macro with it but I can't afford one anyways).

And suffer the burning hell of CO2? Nothing's really bit the dust in my testing. Yet....

No The overrated and too popular crap mini is the 1 gun with no matter how many modifications cannot work with co2, it's nothing like mixing oil and water it's moar like the clash of hevan and hell mixed when you put co2 and a mini together.

Luxe Just because I want to hear the Siri-like voice's reaction

G4 because I want to see if it's bolt would still stick or if it's fittings would blow out.

What if you put the second regulator in the ASA, and placed a quick disconect on the bottom of the reg, and ran a remote line? Should work then...

It might work like that but practicality goes out the window when you run it that way as there's nothing to shoulder the setup with. I'm weary of running the Mini on CO2 though, their solenoids are really easy to over pressurize and damage as I've seen quite a number of kids at the field increase the velocity at the reg only to have to take their leaking gun to the counter a few minutes later. Mini's to me just aren't robust enough to run CO2 IMHO.

The purpose of these tests is to see how practical CO2 is on the speedball field with speedball markers shooting ropes. Shooting lanes without some sort of stock is kinda hard, another reason why the Mini isn't a terribly attractive candidate for my test.
