Hey guys,
So I thought that I would write a little windows 7 shortcut guide. This is for windows Aero people, I dont think it works with win7 in basic mode (areo disabled).
So here is the first shortcut!

Screen Snapping:
Have you ever want to move an open application, and get it so it goes full screen, or make it a littler square/rectangle, or make it only on one side(covers half the screen)? Well, here is how to do it!
Step One: Move mouse to the top of the screen (the top bar).
Spoiler

Step Two: Click and drag to one spot, like so.
Spoiler

There you go, now its smaller.

If you drag it back to the top, it will make it fullscreen again.
Now, if you use the command left arrow key, it will make it fill half the screen, on the left.
Spoiler

Command right arrow key, fill half of the screen, on the right.
Spoiler

Use command down arrow key, it will make it smaller.
Spoiler

And finally, when it is small, using command down again will minimise it.
Spoiler

Switch:
so, have you ever wanted to switch between windows/applications quickly? here is the how to:
Step One: When you have multiple windows open, push down the windows key, and the tab key.
Spoiler

Step Two: Keep pressing tab until you get to the desired window.
Spoiler

Now the other way to do so;
Faster Switch
Step One: Hold down the alt and tab key while having multiple things open.
Step Two: Push tab down until you get to the desired window.
Spoiler

Now, this is all a screen shot would give me, but you just keep hitting tab until you get to the right window, or just click on a window while holding tab.

Right Click CMD: (Stix's idea)
Step One: To right click and get CMD you must hold down shift key.
Step Two: Click on "open command window here".
Spoiler

More Awesome Random Commands sponsored by Stix!

Ctrl+Shift+N To Create a New Folder.

Ctrl+Shift+Click To Open a Program As Administrator.

Shift+Right-Click Enhances Send to Menu.

Shift+Right-Click On a Folder to Open Command Prompt.

For Dual Monitors: Win+Shift+Right Arrow Key to Move Active Window to Right Monitor.

Win+T to Get to Taskbar Items

Some More Commands by Sollario

Windows + E Open explorer.

Windows + P Is Presentation mode.

CTRL + Windows + Tab Gives you the Aero 3D sliders and lets you use the arrow keys and enter to find and select what tab you want. This is basicly a diffrent way of doing the command + tab switch.

Alt + Esc Cycles through programs in order of which they were opened. (like Alt+Tab switch or Command + Tab switch).

Quick Desktop View
If you want to minimise everything with one quick click
Step One: Move mouse to the bottom right corner of your screen.
Step Two: Click on the little bar beside the time (on the right hand side).
Spoiler

And there you go, now everything is minimised!

EDIT: Also, if your click their again, everything will re-open in the same layered way as before (which application is behind/infront of which).

So there you go! You now have learned ten more ways to easily navigate threw Win 7 (again, I think Win 7 Aero needs to be on).
Please leave a comment on what you think, and, leave a comment or pm me any other little tricks, easter eggs, or short cuts. If you do, I will be sure to re-edit the OP with them, along with your name, for credit, and some pics for help.

The only thing you're missing is how to right click open in CMD Prompt. Other than that, nice job. Posted Image

You also forgot a faster switch method (Which is what your screenshot gave you) of using Alt+Tab to switch between windows.

i also found a cool way of always making the command prompt on the right click of a folder, without using shift, but it requires editing the registry.

I'm a little more thorough than that... you had the Windows+Tab button but then said "Here's another example, I don't know why I only got this for a screenshot" and had the Alt+Tab without saying otherwise.

i use

win + r msconfig
win + r cmd
win + r devmgmt.msc
win+r perfmon /res (or non /res depending /res is more useful imo)
win + r eventvwr

literally 2 dozen times a day at work so to me these are the most important shortcuts save ctrl c ctrl v, but i also have opera hotkeyed to my liking for games i play, can open and cycle thru 1000 tabs in a second or two Posted Image

Quick Closing

If you have multiple instances of a program, say 3 tabs of Internet Explorer, you can use the scroll button to close them.

Step 1: Move mouse over the programs on the taskbar, or click on it.

Spoiler

Step 2: Go over the window you want to close and press the scroll button.

Spoiler

Easy Opening

You can use Shift + Click to open another instance of a program.

Step 1: Hover over the program you want to open another instance of.

Spoiler

Step 2: Press hold down Shift and click it.

I might have missed reading this one in the list.

If you have a program you open pretty frequently, you can pin the shortcut to the taskbar and open it by pressing Windows Key+ Number key corresponding to it's position. For example, Win+1 will open Internet Explorer because it's in the first position. On my computer, the snipping tool is the second one so it'll be Win+2. Naturally, you can drag and drop the programs around to change their position.
