I have the dye brand speedfeed, and its getting pretty droopy. I wanna know how to get some spring back in it. And dont tell me i should have not wasted my cash and gone with the exalt. I traded my stock lid for it, and it was a good deal. I just dont know how to get it back to the way it used to be. Please help!!!

Sorry to say it to you, but when it droops, it droops not much you can do. Dye Speed-feeds really aren't that good.

There might be a way to make it sag less, but I have no idea. Try getting your orginal lid back?

Yeah, the Dye speedfeeds are pretty bad. They work alright when they are brand new, but they simply dont have a long lifetime. The drooping will get worse, and there isnt anything you can really do other than get another speedfeed, unfortunately.

Not sure if this works, but I've seen it suggested to put something conical through the bottom to push the fingers upward, and let it sit. Something like a mustard bottle or maybe a small road cone... (trying to keep a straight face here) Leave it "reversed" for a while and see if it trains the fingers back the other way.. Worth a shot I guess. What a design flaw, dye...

Ditto on the exalt feed. I'm using that now and it pretty solid.

It works a bit, but will actually go back to being droopy very quickly, and will end up ripping off the fingers. They are just too soft.

To be honest, if you want a speedfeed that won't droop, get the Spine feed 2012 version... Best speedfeed out there, and just letting you know, even the Exalt one droops pretty bad after a while.

stick it in the fridge on a mustard container works on the Virture speedfeeds dont know if it will work on the Dye
Stop worrying about how you look, and start worrying about how you play. Get out on the field and play paintball the best you can, not stand at home in front of a mirror trying to figure out if your jersey matches your eyes.

I'll have to try that this week. Bought a used Rotor w/speedfeed. Spent too much time fishing the tines out of the hopper to get it filled this weekend.

stick the bottom of a pod through the speedfeed upwards, remove the top of your rotor and stick the bottom (rounded off part) of the pod through it upwards so that the flaps are bending upwards... i've heard this KINDA helps with droop

The only speedfeed that never drops (that I've used) is the virtue standard

Well i saw a post on pbnation(bad) that said something about putting it in really hot water and then cooling it fast. Unfortunately, it was a dead link so i couldnt get more than a few words off of google. If i just stick a pod through, and put it in the freezer, that should help?

Time for a new speedfeed bro.

You wouldn't have had this problem if you would've gotten a spine feed or an exalt
