ok well for those who don't know I'm fourteen which means I don't have a drivers license, and I don't know about the employment application. I've never played in any tournament or anything like Living legends, nor am I familiar with IP board or have a history of moderating.

So my question is: Should I even bother to fill out a mod app?

meh, I think they look for people with more experience. Idk, the admins work in mysterious ways... I'd give you a yes though. A lot of the focus is on what type of member you are. If you have more than a few warns I wouldn't try it. When I applied I hate about 5 warns that were pretty spread out and multiple mods said no due to that.

I don't even think they're taking on more people. But why not, you can always put one in and update it as you go along. You should probably PM a mod or Admin to find out more.

Think of it from TechPB's perspective. They're first and foremost running a business.

Would you hire a 14 year old to moderate what others say, to be an image of what the company stands for, and to have authority over many people years, even decades older than them?

Nothing against you, but it just wont happen
It's all about the game and how you play it, All about control and if you can take it
All about your debt and if you can pay it, It's all about pain and who's gonna make it

We have had a 15 year old mod and everybody is entitled to put a mod app up.

Admins do look at the apps when considering people.

Would you consider a mod in their young teens to be an exception or the rule, though?

I'd think that a younger member would have to stand out even more as excellent mod material than an older one... especially with all the old-ass cranky administrators we got around here.

;)

Turkey, if you really want to be a mod, then I'd suggest starting an application thread - it may not help too much, but it's almost certainly not going to hurt your chances.

Just make an application.
Just to have it there. Go report stuff and stay more active.
