My 98 (obviously) shot farther than the the rentals I had used in the past, it could fire at 300FPS without a tank so long as you cocked it after each shot and held air after degassing just like a regulated marker.

That my G3 would actually hold itself together, and would be fun and easy to use.

Nope.

Every single screw would be constantly unscrewing itself, and if I didn't tighten the body screws back down after every single game, then the body would be flopping side to side because of the weight of the paint filled hopper, because the screws had come loose in the previous game, so the body wasn't tight against the grip frame like it's supposed to be.

It only took me like 3 days of play before I got tired of that bullshit and bought myself a mag. A marker should never unscrew itself like that, especially so much that I would have to tighten every screw after every game. Hell, I even lost a solenoid screw one time, because the body loosened enough that the solenoid screw would then loosen and it fell out while I was playing one day.

Ever since then I've put down electros, picked up my warped mag, and never looked back. It's a huge pain in the ass to have to screw every screw back in after every game, and my mag never loosens any screws ever, I love it, it's way better than my G3.

I thought my Spyder clone was "high performance".

I show up at a field that I never been to before for some rec-play wearing cargo pants with a t-shirt....carrying a old mech Spyder and two pringle potato chip cans for pods shoved in the pants pockets. The stares are priceless and after the first game or so you get to see the grins from the ref and players who know....priceless.

Why did it take so long to make a Shocker with the spring stock?

Brass Eagle Jaguar, that it would actually work. I had to return it, needed a gun so I took home another BE- Cobra pump. Hay it worked. Latter that year I tried the debugged Jaguar again. Loaned out the Cobra.

Now with one of the few semi's I was going to be a much more effective player. The Original Plan. Well it did strengthen my trigger finger (it was actually a very long hard pulling dbl action).

Next year (near the end of the season) when I got my favorite gun, Tippman 68 Special, with my Bionic Brass Eagle enhenced trigger finger, I was a more effective player. LOL.............. No need for a Reponse Trigger (that was invented years later to keep up with me). At least from RPS perspective, I was more effective. heeeeeheeeee.....

Post count still not high enough, Cooky?

I thought that the iron sights I made out of a small door-frame bracket and an allen key taped to my barrel actually helped my game.
I will admit though, it looked pretty damn cool.

Reading reviews on my first gun (BE Talon) and one said the hopper was too loud. So I buy another hopper. A gravity one. The hopper that came with it? Same exact one as the one I just spent 5$ on.
