Saw a picture of LIFT's new jersey, look at the sponsor section. Nike PB?

Not sure if that's legal, using the Nike logo, because I'm pretty sure that's not a Nike endorsed photo.

My guess would be photoshop. That outfit would not work well in paintball, too much hard plastic that will cause a paintball to break instead of bounce. I think someone took a picture of an airsoft guy, photoshopped a hopper onto his pistol and photoshopped on the paint splatters and the Nike stuff.

Look at the goggle/mouth shield, that's all airsoft equipment, not paintball. And you wouldn't run a hopper on a pistol, it would cause major balance issues. And do you really see people dressing up like that on the field? The hardcore milsim guys will generally dress up as military members, not police officers.

From what I gather about copyright laws and all that, as long as you're not making money off of it, there isn't much you can do. Like if you printed off a dozen copies of that, and handed them out to people, I don't think Nike can do shit. But if you started selling those copies, then they'd be able to sue you. However, I don't know if that's true or not. Because I figure Nike wouldn't be too happy if you wrote their name on a dildo and handed it out to people.

It happens. Shadow Squad is backed by nike.

I doubt that it's actually a nike sponsorship logo. Nike tends to not like people sticking their brand on clothing they don't make.

Nike will get into anything they can make a buck on. That does not necessarily mean its good though. Look what Nike did to skateboarding. They join an make prices nobody can compete with and shut down small company's such as pretty much every one in paintball. Skateboarders hate the fact that nike came into the industry (besides the sponsored pros of course).

I don't know if that would necessarily be the same for this case. The big companies that Nike would be taking on would all be clothing manufactures. KEE, DYE, PE, all of those companies are capable of handling competition in the market place. At least, I think they are.

I wouldnt be suprised if nike got into paintball. I imagine them just making clothing and footwear though. Im suprised they dont already have a paintball specific cleat out and paintball clothing out. I see at least half of the people wearing cleats on the field, using nike cleats. I also see nike socks, sweatbands, and shirts.

Lol Dye, PE, Kee are fucking taco stands to Nike. Your comparing Millions to Billions here man.

I think he gets that, but what he's saying is that Nike has money, but would you rather wear tried-and-true PE, Dye, Kee, etc. gear, or some new Nike gear that no one really knows much about? Plus, I'd rather be seen walking in a PB company's Tee-Shirt than Nike's, because I'm more unique with paintball companies. They could make some nice gear, but they won't shut down our tried-and-true companies.
