10's also suck compared to 11's.

What's so different? They're only a year apart...

Gah. I want an old gun so bad.

10s are practically the same as Ego 9s. The 11 has the adjustable solenoid, and if tuned properly that makes all the difference. I'll let you know how I like the Karni after I play with mine this weekend.

I may just look for an 11, but I'm looking for a cocker first. I want a Karni, because an E-Cocker would be cool. SO MUCH BACKBLOCK...

Before you consider a cocker you must answer a question. Are you mechanically inclined?

You don't need to be mechanically inclined to own a cocker. You just need some time to mess with it and figure out what each adjustment does.

I will never get an e-cocker because i feel like i would need new lenses every game. Even with a beaver tail

Fair enough, I just think it would be very helpful especially with a e-cocker.

Gah. I want an old gun so bad.

the principle behind the Ego11 is that the bolt/ram speed (aside from the noid limiters) has been slowed down... by slowing down the ram the market actually smooths out shot wise... less barrel rise, less feedback... an example out sid eof paintball would be the difference between a SCAR and an M4... SCAR ~650rpm cyclic rate, M4 ~750-800rpm cyclic rate... the SCAR is much easier to keep on target du to its more controlled firing action... its the same with egos... older egos were built for shear speed, where as with the 11 PE took a different approach, by slowing down the overall speed of the ram, and then adding limiters to fine tune tor forward and rearward movement, the end user can get a super smooth and controlable action out of a previously "harsh" shooting gun

if you are looking for a smooth stacked tube poppet once you get your e-cocker, if you dont want ot pay for an ego11, try the 2011 G6r, Cyborg RX, Infinity Legend... aside from the ego11, the only other ego i've ever liked was the ego8...

as for e-cockers... karnis are over rated, but, if you like the way they look, go for it... just remember, with any e-cocker, depending on what parts you put on it and how you tune, they will all shoot the same... so go with something you like... but, if you get a karni, you may want to consider swaping out the Sith reg for something else...

oh, and here are a couple pics of my playing with my pumps...

I'd wait a bit on the ego 11 since it's world cup time.

Imo the g6r would be a better choice.

hmm I'm probably going to wait on that 86 frame from ccm. Looks like I'm going to busy again :( .

Although, my friend managed to hit himself a few times.

Hello everyone recently just traded back into playing pump. *Upped kaos pump for a Stock DP G3 then G3 for a Nightkast Pump*

Posted Image

I just picked it up this Saturday. Loving playing pump again and it is the first autococker i have shot. I have to say i am very impressed and i will be keeping this marker forever. It was kept in immaculate condition. Almost LNIB by it's previous owner. Only wear is unseen underneath the pump arm but that's perfectly fine. Threw an exalt grip on the black magic reg a little bit ago. I have to say this gun *besides my tanks fill nipple...* has been the perfect fit physically for me. I did not believe how well balanced a marker could be until i picked up an autococker :)

Pump cockers are fun, but when you put the pneumatics on one they get really fun, there's nothing like seeing a back block and cocking rods flying everywhere when you pull the trigger.

Well, this week is the hardest of my life. If the Ego is there on Friday, I pay my cash and guns and get it. If my Axe sells by Friday, I go in and pay my cash and I'm golden. I doubt the Ego will sell by Friday, but you don't know. The owner said the only customers with tank fills and kegarator fills. Plus my backpack broke, so I ordered a PE Gravel that'll be there on Friday.

Easy.

Step 1. Make a WTB post on Mcarterbrown.com

Step 2. Bump post as needed.

Step 2. Repeat step 3 until you've acquired the gun.

I show up at a field that I never been to before for some rec-play wearing cargo pants with a t-shirt....carrying a old mech Spyder and two pringle potato chip cans for pods shoved in the pants pockets. The stares are priceless and after the first game or so you get to see the grins from the ref and players who know....priceless.
