Just checked out the weather report for the next ten days, and we can expect what I would consider perfect paintball weather. The weather calls for around 70 degrees and partly sunny for the first half of the week, with rain coming the weekend before Legends. So it won't be blistering hot (as it was in the area back in March,) and it won't be freezing cold (like most of the month of April.)

I'll update ten days out from the event when the 10 day forecast is available for the weekend

I don't know what you're worried about. Many of the members of the Praetorian Guard have been training here in Florida in 90+ degree heat...

I live 20 minutes away from CPX and will tell you that you can't really rely on the 10 day forecast for Illinois as Mother Nature has a mind of her own here.

It's right next to a huge mass of water. Weather can change in an instant.

Blistering hot? I'm looking forward to coming up there and getting a bit of a break from the heat, but if it is hot I'm sure it won't be near as hot and humid as we're used to in southern Louisiana. It's the winters up there that could give us trouble.

I live about an hour and a half north of CPX. This part of the midwest can be real fucked up weather wise. The one thing I'm hoping for is for it to NOT rain all week before the game. Rain during I really don't care. I can deal with heat, humidity, bugs, rain, cold, and snow. But the last thing I want is for it to be hot and the entire field be a giant festering mud pool.

Ha, good luck trusting a 7 day forecast, let alone a 10 day forecast. You wanna know how I find out what the weather will be like on a particular day? I stick my head out on that day. That's about the only way to be any kind of accurate in the midwest.

No kidding man, we had two weeks of 80 degree weather up here in March. It was actually nicer weather here than in PCB where a buddy of mine went for spring break. But three days later it dropped 50 degrees and back came a little snow

LOL, Weather up here is a joke. We were supposed to get thunderstorms all week here in the south side. We had light sprinkles instead on 2 different days. So I wouldn't trust a forecast 100%

We have had horrible reports of the worst storms.. and they still missed CPX this year and ended up being great days to play paintball. We truly will not know until the weather radar the day before and morning of. Also depends if the jet stream moves back up. It is been down lower and pushing many storms just south.. just have to wait. 10 day... 5 day.. and even 3 day before the event really does not matter. It can all change 1-2 days before.

I'd bring it on board anyways, always good to have a backup just in case.
