I just saved up and upgraded to a Rotor and it won't fit in my Marq's feedneck. I was just wondering if in your experience, if you know if the other loaders like the Pinokio or Prophecy Z2 are smaller? Sanding is my last resort but I will do it if necessary.

Never sand your 200 dollar loader for a feed neck that might run you 25 dollars.

That's strange, I normally put a rotor on my marq.

I say go ahead and sand it, anything to save a buck.

Even when I take the feedneck off the loader won't fit in the tube that the feedneck mounts on...

OMG dude, just go spend the $25 and get a new feedneck. Why would you ruin your loader when you don't have to?

Some of you are way too cheap to be in this sport.

Relax, no need to get fired up over this.

But yeah, get a new feedneck, I wouldn't sand down a 200 dollar loader.

No but I think even if I get a new feedneck it won't fit because the tube that holds the feedneck to the marker is too small.

Marq feednecks are milled into the body, it physically can't get wider.

If the loader is too thick to start with, getting a new feedneck won't help.

Though I don't like saying this, but sanding your Rotor is probably your best bet, just be careful.

I'm pretty sure the Marqs are standard Ion threads, just get another one, cost you 35$ max.

if you lubes tank barrel and hopper you can shoot gooder

Thank you, that's what I've been trying to say... the only loader I know that's fairly small is the Vlocity.

If that's true, it'll be less then that.

The feedneck tube is milled to the body so I can't make it any bigger, it won't matter if I replace the feedneck...

OMG you sound like a 13 year old girl...

I show up at a field that I never been to before for some rec-play wearing cargo pants with a t-shirt....carrying a old mech Spyder and two pringle potato chip cans for pods shoved in the pants pockets. The stares are priceless and after the first game or so you get to see the grins from the ref and players who know....priceless.

I would first see how much you would have to sand off to get it to fit. Is it currently almost going in? Or is it way too big for the feedneck?

It's pretty close; if I sanded it down enough I should be able to fit it.

I've never had a feedneck break off because:

a ) I take care of my gear
b ) I dive and slide with proper form (gun hand palm up)

But of course this won't mean shit to any of you. Keep hating.

Chill out man. I've had to sand feednecks down for plenty of guns.

Op, I would just sand it down. Do it a little bit at a time, so you don't oversand it.

A halo fits into the feedneck on my hybrid mummy. Try removing the wedge in the feedneck (if your marq has that) or try twisting it in. I have to put the corner of the feedtube of my halo into the feedneck first then kinda rotate it to get it in then the rest goes in. It will be a very snug fit with larger feedneck loaders.

Ok, it doesnt matter if the tube is too small and its milled to the body. Just get a HIGH RISE FEEDNECK!!! The rotor feedneck will sit nice and good and it wont physically touch the tube at all.

If it's fairly close, it's not a bad idea to sand the Rotor's feedneck down a little. The material is plenty durable to withstand the loss of a few millimeters.

Keep hating.

If you were a little more tactful in your responses, the other members on this site would value your opinion a little more.

Thanks a lot for the help everyone!!!

I haven't used the forum much before and I appreciate the time everyone took to help me out.
I traded for a Prophecy and fits great! I'm really glad with it's operation, too.

Turns out there was somebody in my area who really wanted a Dyecam Rotor but the store was all out so at least I helped somebody by returning mine.

I even had some trade credit left over to get a Rhino Tank Cover

I not so sure how to close this topic or whatever so yeah... spend your time helping some other idiot :)
