While im sitting down at home behind my computer screen i think to myself, wow this fuckin music on itunes is garbage. Seeing that all of it is brand new fresh from the studio kind of stuff it really frustrated me, all you here in songs now a days is

WUB WUB WUB BOW WOW WOW WUB WUB and on every rap song you hear the n word every other sentence its like WTF?

And going to a concert is worthless now, all you see is a guy behind a computer waving his arm up and down, its like are you fucking kidding me?

While there is some exceptions I give mad props to 2 major current bands/singers which would be Adele and Foster the People, two groups that Make ALBUMS not singles.

I guess its just not possible now a days to make a Full album that has great songs throughout the whole thing without having one hit and fillers so people will buy it.

This here is by far my favorite piece of music ever created http://www.youtube.c...feature=related

Pink Floyd: Dark side of the Moon

I guess ill slow it down with this, what is your all time favorite Album, i need some good music now a days :)

Don't listen to the new shit. The only reason it's big is because people are conformists and band-wagoners. Thank you for being unique and an individual.

I can go on with songs. Stick with the classics.

I agree, look where music is headed too, our kids will be listening to k-pop, lol. Anyways, oldies are not that bad, and if you want to listen to good music, go on youtube, and look for people who are not as popular.

Music is ever-changing.
Compare each decade to the one before and the one after and you'll find few similarities.
There really isn't a set trend on how music will be in the future, it just sort of becomes.
If you like the music now, cherish it, as it won't last long.
If you don't, be patient, as it won't last long.

"Don't listen to new shit, and be induvidual" I hear and the guy posts up Green Day.
Way to go, guy!

There's a lot of awesome Drum and Bass music now a days.
But I mostly listen to old Blues, rock or metal, just because I prefer it.

I have no one favorite band or song. Depends on my mood.
Pretty much any DnB with Veela in it is awesome, that girl can sing.
Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Rolling Stones, Jeffersons Airplane, Turbonegro, Dimmu Borgir, cKy and so on are stuff I usually listen to.

Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Sublime, and U2 are my top 3, with Coldplay not to far behind. Although I do hate modern music (mostly rap) I do enjoy house music, simply because that's all they play at the parties I go to.

I listen to mainly metalcore/hardcore music with other rock metal alternative thrown in. With some older pop, good pop.

Hey, we still have Red Hot Chili Peppers (even though they've been around for like 20 years) and the Foo Fighters :P

Check out a band called We Were Promised Jetpacks, they're Scottish.

You should also check out Band of Horses and My Morning Jacket.

Albeit, other than RHCP and Foo Fighters, not many people are really aware of these other bands in comparison to the popular pop artists of today.

Stop worrying about how you look, and start worrying about how you play. Get out on the field and play paintball the best you can, not stand at home in front of a mirror trying to figure out if your jersey matches your eyes.

Yeah, There's a lot of things I hate about my generation. But if we are specific to music, then there's only some stuff I like that's newer. Some dubstep is good, but it does get boring.

I've really started to appreciate jazz a lot, both in listening to it and playing it. People would be surprised how much jazz/the blues influences all types of music. It's just so much more entertaining to listen to..

I really can listen to any music, but I like alternative, metal, rock, dubstep, and house. I think everyone's view on music is different, and it should be respected though. I listen to one rap artist, who is underground for the most part. I only listen to mainstream rap when I'm in the mood to troll my mom in the car... :D

I can't understand the pop music of today though. Most of the lyrics contain the same ideas.

when bands like zepplin, the beatles, the who etc came around alot of people thought they were crap. Music is constaly evolving. Listen to what you like.
Stuff I like:
Led zepplin
The clash
The who
The doors
The white stripes
the sex pistols
the ramones
jimi hendrix
bob marley
toots and the maytals
little bit of dubstep

I could go on and on...

I hate when people say "Our generation has horrible music". You obviously don't know where to search then. There is always bad music. ALWAYS. But there is also good music, you just have to search for it. There are a ton of great bands out there, a ton of great rap artists.

Go to the discount CD section at Target, close your eyes, and randomly pick out a CD. They're like $3.00 so you really can't lose. Listen to it in the car and you'll eventually fall in love.

I've purchased a Frank Sinatra Album(best investment ever), and The Jackson 5. The Sinatra one's got 25 songs on it and I've completely fallen in love. I start humming the next song before the one I'm listening to is over. And well, The 5 is just awesome.

You'd be surprised at what you can end up liking.

That's why I prefer the Beatles darker and more trippy songs.
