I personally think harder paint is better anyway ya know? It doesnt warp as much over time, and like u said its alot better for shooting through brush and leaves... Most that counteract that argument say "well i prefer paint that breaks everytime u hit someone" but realistically most people call themselves out when they get hit regardless if it breaks...

Maybe thats just me but i dont sit there for 5 seconds trying to see where the splat is, if i get hit i just call OUT lol.. What about u guys? Whats ur thoughts on this?

Oh and i meant to ask you guys this before but what paint do you like to use in the woods?

I typically get marbs (expensive i know, but very worth it IMO) but when im on a budget i get Draxxxus Midnight's at sports authority cuz u cant beat the price for that quality

Since I play pump,I usually buy 2 100 round bags of white evil for about 10 bucks.

Response to topic of the day: my favorite paint to use is grafiti becouse its hard enough to go threw tall gras and light brush and breaks on people. Its the ultimate woodsball paint its not to hard and its not so brittle that you cant shoot it threw a tippmann without it breaking.

Although I don't use either barrel I have two people at my field that use the Apex and they like it alot, I have heard the Flatline barrel isnt very good. I don't have any idea why though.

Apex, because they have them for all guns vs. the flatline for tippmanns.Alsothe apex is better overall.

apex because it's basicly a flatline with more adjustibility(curve shot, dive bomb, etc.)

Topic of the day: Every time I go out to yhe woodsball field I see people with optics and scopes. Do you think they are really necessary or just a waist of money? Give your opinion and tell why?
My opinion:I dont really think they are useful. I mean how far does the paintball gun you have shoot farther than mine?[exception of apex, flatline, and first strike rounds.]Thats right it doesnt, and I dont have a hard time aiming my marker. In fact I bet I could shoot just as accuretley as someone with their fancy optics.

Scopes will make you even more inaccurate with your standard paintball. Now I think red dots could help you shoot in the vicinity of your target at closer or maybe medium distances, but are not needed at all.

Best way to shoot a paintball is and has always been aim down the barrel baby! These scopes and red dot sights are strictly for show IMO, bullets can follow an individuals aiming with crosshairs, etc but lets face it, paintballs are round :) they have a serious down curve!

I pull the trigger with my middle finger and "point" at the thing I am shooting at.The problem with scopes is that they will probably get shot, and in the time it takes to aim with a scope, you will probably get shot out.

That's sick!! Anyways, to the topic. I don't think scopes are all of that useful because you have the possibility of tunnel vision and it probably makes it harder to aim quickly.

.I never know what to put in these things.

Haha, buy a fast loader :P ok if I was using a 98 again I would push very fast to the flank. While all my friends distract them by going toward the center in a sorta C formation, there by trapping the other team. Now the other team is stuckin their postion and cant watch their back I walk up behind them killing them..... done deal

So your your meaning of fast is 5bps and mine is 15bps lol. Anyways does anyone know if getting an e grip or response trigger for the 98c will increase the fire rate on semi auto
( meaning the trigger pull is lighter so you can pull it faster) thanks

An e-grip will give you more modes, 3 round burst, full auto. But no matter what you do you have to have a good enough loader to keep up with you
