Beats me. He must have tried fixing the marker himself and didn't take it apart properly or something. The reason I think that is because the marker wouldn't fire (air was trapped on the wrong side of the solenoid which happens when the marker is improperly degassed) and that, the lack of firing, was the only problem he reported.

g3 doesn't actually have any problems till you get noobs trying to fix it. G4 has the bolt stick problem (unrelated to the regulator). In fact, I've never really had a problem with any my dangerous power regulators that wasn't the direct result of me or someone else doing something wrong.

I had a G3 bolt break, and a G3 board break, all without me doing anything other than PLAYING. I wasn't a "noob" nor was anyone who assisted me if I needed help. That's a ridiculous claim.

Then you sir are just an unlucky fella. How did you break your bolt? And what model G3 was it?

See that's something I just don't get. I hear these horror stories, but have never witnessed them first hand. Call me a guy who needs first hand evidence, but this is literally the first problem that I've had that I wasn't the cause of, even so it was still user error that caused it.

Since when did this turn into a DP trolling thread?

I show up at a field that I never been to before for some rec-play wearing cargo pants with a t-shirt....carrying a old mech Spyder and two pringle potato chip cans for pods shoved in the pants pockets. The stares are priceless and after the first game or so you get to see the grins from the ref and players who know....priceless.

No clue, it all started with my Cynthia being abused... :dodgy:

See that just doesn't make sense. I'm not a gun tech, and I've never run into a problem with any of DP's that I personally couldn't fix, (again, not a gun tech). Plus the gun tech's at the field I practice at never balk at taking a G4 (with their inherent flaws..I never will forgive DP for messing that up) and fixing it in 5-10 minutes if it's something other than bolt stick. If they can't fix it, they call up the CS at DP and find out how, then they fix it. The only thing they can't fix on spot, is a blown solenoid, which usually results from someone cranking their pressure way up, or a bad noid (can get it replaced from DP if it's under warranty).

Fixed this problem. Little drummel tool and a little TLC (plus a shim as one was missing...go figure) and it shoots ropes again with out any hiccups.
