Proto 2011 Rail question
Posted 28 June 2012 - 11:43 AM
* Will it screw in all the way?
* Will it cover up some of the grip?
* How well of a rate of fps will I get?

As for the BPS, it will shoot at whatever your marker is set to assuming your hopper can keep up.

Yeah the tank will screw in all the way, it's ASA for a reason, it's the standard for airtanks.
And I don't see why it would cover any of the grips.
Hope this helps!

My Guerrilla 48 3000 tank just came in today and I tried to put it on my 2011 Proto Rail, but it will not screw in all the way. The PSI scale on the tank comes into contact with grip on the rail. It looks close so I almost considered trying to squeeze it by, but I didn't want to take any chances. Any ideas??

Actually, I have a Guerrilla 48/3000 and it has no problem mating up with my 2011 Rail. Did test with dry firing and only got about 300 shots out of the 3000 psi though. The Rail is without a doubt a gas hog.

So the gauge does not catch the grip handle at all when you thread it on? Or does it at least a little bit?

I have not noticed a problem with the gauge hitting. If it does, there should be a bit of play in the steel line for you to move the asa back a bit.

they asa on the rail can slide forwards or backwards. if you take the grips off and the battery out there is a small screw in the bottom of the grip frame. I believe there are better instructions as well as a picture in the manual if you want to try and do that.
