This has to be one of these two things.

FASOR

Or Electro-Pneumatic

If it's gonna be another sear-tripper then I'm out.

i wouldnt mind a sear tripper but it would be cool to see azodin seperate themselves from kingman by making simple blowbacks more battery efficient ,quieter and more gentle on paint but still having a low cost.

I mean they already have 2 sear trippers, a mechanical, and a pump.
All they need now is a FASOR or EP gun.

If it is a Sear-tripper then I would like it to be efficient and come with a barrel kit.
Also allow it to use previous Zenith upgrades and hopefully a better board than a Zen board.

I would like to see a mid-end board in it.

I would really like to see it have a chip so that your loader is synced with your gun.

thats true as a previous azodin owner their reliability also needs to be fixed the guns go down allot.

Azodinonline now has a better, clearer image of the marker - no fat trigger, it's just extended out. http://www.azodinonl...rkers/zenithx2/

That's like the exact same pic as in the start of the thread, just with some extra text.

It's the same picture but crisper because it's not shaded and then whitened. It's the original brightness. The fat trigger artifact is removed.

This is interesting imo,
I feel like the stbb design is depleted though; that there really isn't much more room for improvement in it. In my mind the spool valve is the future of paintball because it has the most room for improvement. When you have a 60ish gram mass smashing into a valve, there's only so much you can do to reduce kick. Heck you could even say that the entire family of poppet valves is depleted. The timmys and egos haven't got that much better in the past few years. I do understand that these are entry level markers but I just don't think this will be that different than the current zenith because of inherit shortcomings in the design.

So I'm more excited for the spool azodin is rumored to release.

though one more thing: Even though I say the spool is the future, I feel confident in saying that whatever valve comes after the spool will truly revolutionize paintball

That makes no sense the Spyder is a sear tripper with a mechanical solenoid and the Timmy is a basic poppet with an electropneumatic solenoid, the only resemblance from a timmy and Spyder is the timmy has a Spyder shell.

Bob Long started with blowbacks, and worked on his Timmys from there. The Timmy was inspired by the design of a STBB.

Azodin's facebook page says they pushed the Zenith X2 back to the summer of 2013. The Blitz EVO is the new marker for Christmas.

barrel looks new, grips, feedneck is clamping instead of the twist lock, the swivel on the reg and looks like about it, i know the zenith was never very popular to begin with but this might be better. Id certainly try this over a gog. Although the milling on this looks a bit juvenile...like a smart parts epiphany milling style or something idk...but this gun is still probably a sear tripper therefore not reeeaaally a true electro

They finally got rid of those twist lock feed necks finally, maybe a new barrel. In my opinion they should design a new frame and trigger next for therye upcoming markers

That reg swivel isnt new i think they had it on the limited edition Kaos Pumps and same with the asa

It seems to me that people disregard sear-tripped markers as "below them". Even if this is just a slight improvement on the previous Zenith, it will be a good marker. All the convincing I would need to buy one is a better board and feedneck. If they do that and stay close to $250, the Zenith X2 could be a very good thing.
