Well I have recently made two purchases on Amazon and both had added sales tax tacked on to the final price. At first I was wondering what the hell was going on. Been using Amazon for years and years now with no tax. Then I go to the Google machine and it spits out the answer of starting on July 1 (13 days ago) Texas is now the 6th state requiring Amazon to collect sales tax. Amazon has been my tax free safe haven for years. :(

Wah. :(

That sucks, not sure if Illinois does that or not... But what I do know is I went to Ohio and they have like basically no sales tax in their stores, where as here its like 9 almost 10% sales tax
