I wouldn't have any problem putting a bolt out back body on correct? Too bad I need to buy a real hopper and tank now :( 45/45 and revy is what I'm thinking. Both can be used on my pump so win win.

No, that should be perfectly fine, as long as the frame stays stock.

If you're in the need of any other Paintball related items, I'd include them in the order with the screw to make the shipping worth it.

nvm. Did you guys know there is a thing where you can type in a few keywords and a program will pull up over 1 million "results" that have to do with your keyword? I think it's called goggle or something.

I'll just leave these here andrew.... http://www.ansgear.c...ipchewbacca.htm

So it turns out that an 09 Impulse's ASA uses standard ASA screws and placement, and can be attached to any frame that has holes for direct mount ASAs. Things that make you go hmm....

It's not bad at all. You're physically moving a little 3-way valve, so it won't be like hitting a micro-switch. However, it's light enough that with enough finger strength, you could probably manage to get some semblance of walking the trigger.

Possibly it's missing what would be the back cap of sorts that would allow you to take off the donut, cause I don't recall a body that open for the original Ion. Could be wrong though.

when I twisted the knob it rotated the entire donut( I think it's the donut) When the bolt cycles I can see it from the back.

Yeah, that's normal. The hex on the back is part of the firing can. The c-clip is what's holding the donut on the firing can. Everything that's inside that skeleton kit is what's inside a stock Ion. It looks like he took off the plastic outer body, and put that one on.

so I still have to go through the long dissasembly to get to the bolt? And is it any differnt than a regular ion dissasembly? Other than than the whole it doesn't have a board or eyes thing?

Yes, in your case you'll still have to take off the frame, unscrew both banjos on the body, then take out the innards from the body, then unscrew the firing can. It's still a regular Ion, you just don't have to worry about a board or batteries.

Almost got to play with my ion today... Got to the field, aired it up and shot. Balls went about 2 feet. I didn't know what was going on so I took it to the front and after quite awhile we realized I should adjust the reg. Finally got it to chrono at about 240 and left it. One o-ring was torn though and I have no idea what size it is. Anybody know the size of the o-ring that is on the back most screw with a yellow hose going into it? I'll take a pic if you don't know what I'm talking about. Also, one of the hoses is leaking, what do I do to stop it? I by mistake pulled it off...

for some reason, my mech ion is being weird. It is chuffing, and cycling really slowely. Tried the stock bolt and the one that came with the kit, and it still does it.

Hey guys, got my ion built today, only took about 2 and a half hours (kids interrupted a few times). Had one leak from ripping a hose using needle nose pliers to push it on. Went back and removed the banjo from the frame and pushed it on that way (no pliers this time). No leaks! Shoots awesome!
