I was offered a g3 for $150 from a friend who is leaving and moving to alaska. I was wondering if it was a good deal, Ive seen it it works fine and is in good condition. Do you think i could flip it for a profit at all?

Standard price, especially if it's stock.

You wont be able to make any profit off that gun if you buy it for $150. Even if it is upgraded out the ass you might make $50-60 max after it sits on the bst for a few months.
