Bummer brother.

I am already gathering supplies I'll need for the game, like some new mags and mag pouches.

Closer to the actual date how about we go in on a big order for mags. Think I'm just gonna hang on to the MK2 so I have six mags right now. Would like to bump that up to 12 by LL6

I just about finished estimated total cost for the event but hopefully opportunities to lower it will arrive as we get closer to the date.

MOPC? Which is that? Opsgear is the only place that has the vest I want so I'm waiting on them to actually get it in. All of the Condor stuff is on backorder

Modular Operator Plate Carrier. It's 110 on LA Police Gear. It's basically a counterweight version of the USMC MTV.

Hopefully I can pick up a cheap pump before ll6. My dad is starting to show interest In ll6 which is good because I can't drive. Now all that's left is to start getting friends together and plan.

Here's your plan:

1) Show up.
2) Kick ass
3)if you kick enough ass, maybe take some names.
4) Have shit-tons of fun
5) Feel exhausted after Final Battle
6) Make lots of new friends
7) Go home and start planning for LL7

Tactical vest that comes with a hydration pouch. Best of both worlds. But if it's hot like last year was I'd recommend a camelback and pod pack

What I do for scenarios is put 1-2 water bottles in the +x loops of a pod pack and it seems to work for me.However,it will not carry near the amount of water that a camelback will, but it tends to force you to take a break every 1-2 hours to stop and get water.

Breaks are needed. Don't end up like my team and go non stop until you are all about to pass out from heat exhaustion.

Note for next year: Bring more sandwich fixings...that shit was such a boost right at the end of Sunday. I could barely get off the bench I was so exhausted, but getting food in me really helped.

Tip: Make sure you eat throughout the day and you will feel much better.

While I used to be a huge supporter of carrying water onto the field in large quantities I've slowly gone away from it. I used to have a camelback but now I just grab a bottle of water and put it in a pod in my pack. I also used to wear a vest with a hydration bladder as well. Carrying large amounts of water onto the field sounds great but when you see that CPX has large barrels of drinking water at the insertions they lose their luster.

No ones saying you have to stay on the field long enough that you are forced to carry a hydration pack. I've started just using the barrels and if I need more I'll walk out to grab a snack and some electrolytes and water. It's a two day event. Have to take it at steady, safe pace.

I disassembled it completely and painted the outside of the orange shells desert tan. I left the pump, trigger, and pistol grip black as I didn't want to have to worry about wear. Also did a little dremel work to the pump handle.

A few people have upgraded to a stronger spring raising their fps by about 40.. Might try this just need to find the right spring.

It's to early to tell but if I get enough money together and get some friends to come along to split the cost of the hotel room. But getting a splat master brigade together would about great.

I don't know, but I am using my Pure Energy 13/30 not my Ninja. It fits snugly in the butt stock as far as I can tell. I like the length though, makes it feel more realistic.

TPX Mag Holders are MILSIG FAZ MAGS. Great little pieces of work, hold your mags tight enough you can even hang em upside down and they won't fall out.

They can stack on top of one another, like you can weave one into another for a double stack to save space.

I'll send you a link where you can order them from a MILSIG Authorized Dealer right here in the US!

Sweet. Just PM it. I have the Valken ones and when I have them attached so that the mag is upside down and you pull it from above all the paint spills out. Happened to me in a speedball game. Reached to reload pulled out 3 empty mags. Not good. I found that if you mount them upside down on the vest they hold paint much better. They just need to be set up so that the mag is upright in the holder.

This is a question pretty much anyone can answer if they want, when your out at living legends do you tend to do the missions or just run around and fight? Or a little bit of both I want to see what other people did compared to what I'v done the last few years.

I'm thinking about helping out with the missions a little bit more this year then I did in the past, which means I'll most likely be running solo sense my pal who is going with me got shot up so much in the forest at the ravine last year that he vowed never to go into the woods during living legends again. How do I put this..... If Hamburger Hill were a ravine. Yes I think that is an apt comparison. It was the meat grinder of all meat grinders.

I remember they had us all walking in the long line single file right next to the boundary of the ravine...

All we had to do was get from point A to point B... *sniff* I remember how simple they made it sound....

Blood, shit...everywhere.

You're never the same.

Indeed the mixture of these deadly smells.... Sweat, Mud, Fish Oil, Sewage waste and a hint of blood plus the humidity... I don't know what the smell is but I am sure it's found in hell... XD

I just remember the human wave "FOR THE MOTHERLAND" Russian Wave style attack we pushed at the end of Saturday, trying to take the last rumble box in the Ravine last year.

We just had sheer number and performed charge after charge, to the point that after I got shot out and came back, the Empire had abandoned the objective and pulled out lol.
