Yeah I'll just go Saturday in the morning, what time you think I should head over there if Ileave in the morning pick up a friend and drive the 30min-40min drive "All why making the opening charge"

you missed the opening charge the last three years in a row according to a previous post. Obviously earlier than what you have been doing for the past three years.

Hahaha good point.

Hah ^

I would say it would depend on your level of prepardness the night before. For my guys and I, we usually go friday and tech and tune guns, and pick up paint/fill tanks. SO that way all we need to do when we hit the field saturday morning, is chrono the guns/metadynes, fill pods/magazines and find out our mission and get to the starting spot.

If you drive 40 minutes, and do no preparing I would say, leave about 6-6:30 am.

If you do a little prep work (have some spare paint and tech your guns before hand, chrono them to about 270-275, and fill tanks, I would say you'd be safe to leave about an hour later.

Sorry, thought it was assumed and I just answered your question about Friday and Sunday. Camping is allowed Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. There are local camp grounds too for Sunday night. Check out the CPX Website and click Hotels, they are listed there. www.cpxsports.com

Camping is a great way to enjoy all the festivities that go on with LL. You get to hang out and party after the day's play with tons of really awesome people. I tend to fill air and tech Friday. Best part of getting air on Fri is that then when you fill sat it's only to top up and you get a very nice cold fill.

Most do not do anything aside from a baby wipe shower or they will ask someone and they will use their hotel room. Or they have a camper that has the shower. They have nice restrooms but no showers there.

I only showered saturday because we had plans to go out for Gyros, that turned about to be plans to go get pizza since the Gyro place right next to the hotel was closed. So I had to shower since I didn't want to stink up the restaurant.

I've camped at far too many scenarios to ever want to camp at one again. Hotel + showers + actual beds + complimentary breakfast + power outlets + ac = win.

Broke really isn't an issue since you can get 4-6 people in rooms. Hell I had someone in a sleeping bag on the floor in our room last year and he was more than happy to pay equal price simply for the fact that he had a shower and AC.

Good point. I actually got a room for 240 bucks for the whole weekend with 3 people sleeping in there, so that leads to 80 bucks a person for the entire weekend for shower, AC, bed and amenities.

So rumor has it that LL6 could possibly be in October instead of May if CPX get's World Cup next year

except world cup is always the season closer...so it would still be oct and legends would still be may. Why would they change the world cup location anyway when it is so successful every year

hotel will run you about $100-130 a night
transportation costs vary depending on driving or flying
expect to spend probably $20 a day on food, more if you go out for a nicer dinner (most do)
and then extra for souvenirs and the booths

Well you are going to want to bring some money for food, water, and things like that. It is also a good idea to bring some extra money in case you shoot more paint then you planned to. I live only 45 minutes away from cpx and I bring around 100-200, if you are coming from out of state/country you may need to bring more.
