so, I had an irritating and depressing day. My T8 has been giving me problems. I was at the field today, when it decides to leak from the relief valve in the middle of the first game. Thought okay, no biggie I'll download the manual, I remembered seeing something about it. Tried to Adjust the screw in the back and it did virtually nothing. Okayy I thought, I guess I'll just strip it down and try to see if any o-ring are damaged.

This happens to be at a woodsball field, and my first time taking it apart. I wasn't thinking. Wellll I ended up opening the trigger assembly. It eventually got to the point where I didn't know how to put it back together. So, I played with a friends gun for the rest of the day (all of about 3 or 4 games...) and when I got home, watched a couple videos and looks at the manual on how to put it back together.

Well, I got it back together with no parts laying out like I did at the field. I noticed I kind of messed up one of the springs, but the trigger still returned just fine. So, I decided to test it. I put a fresh cartridge in the mag and oh! no leaks. Cool. Eject the mag, Put some paint in it, and go outside. I put the Mag in, and the leak started again. huh? So I tried shooting it to see if that would stop it, and it didn't shoot. Yes, safety off.

So, no I'm sitting here, pissed off, waiting for the video to upload so you guys can see and hopefully help me. If anyone knows what I did wrong, besides being an idiot, please help me. If anyone could make a dis-assembly/re-assembly (including the trigger assembly) video, I would love you. I'm lost here, I'm ready to give up. I don't know what's going on, because it worked fine just a few weeks prior... Please help me guys :(

Did you push the bolt forward before putting the trigger grouping back on?

I'm unsure. Mine (T8.1) had this problem in a game the other day. I simply started wacking it against stuff and it worked. So I don't know haha.

The screw/hole thing area right in the back of the gun. Not the velocity adjuster, but the one right in the center of the, I guess what would would be the body of the gun.

Protip: Don't take shit apart at the field, it makes it harder for me to shoot you. Also, ever try teflon tape?

We don't have any. Good idea though...

Also, I know, I'm really hard to shoot. You're pretty easy to shoot in the top of the mask though ;):P :dodgy:

Try unscrewing the back block and reassembling it. Check the oring on the back valve.

Yes, it does sound like an o-ring issue. Do you have an o-ring rebuild kit? You should try rebuilding/re-lubing every o-ring.

okay, It's working now, no leaks. I guess it just really needed some lube. I take it oil doesn't work? I used dow33 on the O-ring, and now it works.

You aren't supposed to oil the bolt, but use dow33 or similar grease on the powertube inner oring.

Basically, watch the Tiberius tech videos.
