I am very concerned about the use of rubber. I would think that it leads to much more jams than "hard" but flexible plastic due to the stickiness of the rubber. I mean, we all remember how Virtue's rubber Rotor arm was trash and it caused more jams than the stock one. I hope this isn't another NXE JRNY.

You can only jam a rotor if you shooting crapy paint and that shouldent be happening if you can aford a rotor

all the fields in my area are FPO and they only sell crap paint.
does that mean its my fault for shooting that bad paint with a rotor?

My rotor managed a case of 4 month old jt toxin that had been sitting in my jeep. It managed just fine until this little gem popped out. http://i95.photobuck...0802_141550.jpg

Lol i knew that was gonna be the first responce. Again every loader pretty much looks the same. There is not much you can do to the outside look. Since the rotor is the most popular loader out there every loader since 2008 "looks like a rotor". Its whats inside that counts.

I like it, it's a nice balance between the Z2 and Rotor.

We'll see once this comes out if it's better than both.

Z2 doesn't look like a rotor.
Pinokio isn't a rotor. (then again I don't think it's 2008)

But I would've liked a throwback to the old apache loaders.

The z2 is very close. Its got more edges but more or less there both the same size and such. The pinokio is the only one different and why do the majority of people not buy pinokios? The size and look. If you get to outside the box nobody likes it hence why they all look alike.

Virtue says he didn't put the batteries in properly, and had to take it apart to fix that on the field. So whatever happened, it appears to be user error.

I asked him what happened ... he said he screwed up installing it and the batteries were unplugged... ask him yourself.

smaller than a rotor, cheaper than a rotor, with a speedfeed included, and (given the picture) fast enough for tournament play?

Where do I sign?

I'd probably say about 95% of loaders are "fast enough for tournament play." But, it does seem like a promising loader.

Man, I like my Vlocity because it definitely feeds better than my VL Force, but it's really choppy when drop testing which worries me sometimes.

Totally believable as well, I know I trust the ol rotor so far as its been through about as much hell as I can put it through, although I did see the first error I have ever seen with one other than a jam here and there. One out of the box my buddy bought a few weeks ago had a faulty motor, it was a weird problem. It would feed properly but once it stopped feeding, it wouldn't feed anymore.. and we figured this out at a RXL event during a match :/ The shop he bought it from though brought him a new motor later that day before our next match! Props for that! Spire looks good thus far but I donno if it will be worth getting rid of the rotor for, it may jam but the thing seems invincible

I've thrown my Vlocity at the wall, landed no it when Ive dived, and even played in a little rain. It's not that hard to make a durable loader unless its made by odyssey

What!?!?!?!?! I mis understand you bro. My Vlocity feeds great with the select force chip even when it is slightly tilted. I calculated it with exactly 140 paintballs and it feeds about 27bps on mode 2 the modes don't make much of a difference until the ball stack falls its faster to react when it's on a higher mode.

My drop tests feed in like three round bursts instead of a solid stream, even when it's completely up straight. Even on setting one. I'll post a video in a sec. If I can figure out why it's doing that I'll just get a new tank and mask, but if it stays like this than I'm gonna get the Kee sports package at ANS so I'll get E-vents, an Invert TOO and a 68/4500.
