Eh, not liking how the top curves down, gives it a look like it's got a hump on the top.

It is $185.

No one buy it so the price will drop.

http://www.virtuespire.com/

I shot Virtue an e-mail regarding the Spire, like price and drop date. Let see what happens tomorrow.

cause there totally gonna tell you.

Posted Image Thanks asshole.

I don't expect them to tell me, but I just sold my rotor and need a new hopper.

Lol. They have not released any info on it so emailing them is going to do nothing. In fact it did do nothing. You got the same answer they have been releasing.

Yea it has been released, I hope you feel better about yourself.

Ah i dont think $185 is too bad. You gotta think $150 for the loader then $35 for the speedfeed. If this thing works like they say it will then im sure it will sell well. No reason for it not too really. But again we will see in time if it needs and tweaks. Pretty much every loader has.

All I could do is laugh at the price tag. People saying it's worth it are trying to justify it to themselves. Why should I dump $200 into a loader when I never shoot over 12.5 bps. Pay for the name I guess.

to eatch there own. Some people like smaller, simpler. easier on maintenance, noiseless, more battery efficient, lighter, soundless, better looking loaders.

One thing I want to know is how hard it is to take the front shell off in case you get paint inside the hopper. Also, I'm curious to see how it holds up as far as drop test, actual shooting speed, and battery life since it only uses 3 batteries.

Anyway i'm just saying meh right now, i'll let other people buy it first, let virtue redo it and then maybe think about buying it.

Yes

I believe it's all one piece, and the back part is the only piece that comes off.

I'm really liking this design, I'm very curious to play with one. Hopefully it works as well as I'm expecting because I would love if it was a perfectly balanced, quality feeding, quiet loader. That would seal the deal for me.

Yes, and we can gauge that performance with a drop test. Does it drop the paint consistently, or does it do it in bursts? Does the paint seem to jam, or is it doing it's job of loading past that and unjamming? How does it drop reballs? Does it feed those cleanly like they claim? How does the motor sound? If it does end up jamming, does it do it every pod, or was that a fluke?

Plenty to find out with a drop test.

Disagreed. When I do my drop tests, I put 3 pods in a loader 1 after another. (Includes a full loader) and sometimes, it'll jam, sometimes it won't. Repeat 2 - 3 times. It kind of proves how reliable it can be.

it could be good or bad, the tray at the bottom of the loader is flat to increase capacity, this reminds me of the V-max loader and how its flat tray caused inconsistent feeding. i hope this isnt the case with the spire

The v-max sucked because the rubber fingers were way to soft. They just didnt have enough torque on the ball stack. The flat tray has nothing to do with that.
