I'm new to paintball and new to the forums and have a question. I'm going to be picking up a 2009 PMR and an HPA tank that's currently out of hydro for $160 tomorrow. Does that sound like a good deal? Getting a tank hydro tested at my local scuba shop is $45 for those that want to know.

45$ for a hydro? send it to the paintball company that made it and they will hydro it for like $20-$25.

Both for $160?
Thats a great deal for the pmr alone, tank is just a bonus.

Ah didn't know I could do that but I'm trying to find the quickest turn around on the hydro test as I don't have a HPA tank otherwise with which to use on the marker :P

Good to know. I thought it was a good deal but just had to ask.

Here's a pic of my completed setup. I just picked up the gun and tank w/tank cover today for $160. It's a 2009 PMR and a out of hydro Draxxus 68/45 tank. The loader is a Halo B.

Here's a clearer picture of just the marker.

This is why people should buy used more.

With $160, you get a tippmann Gryphon, the cheapest mask you can find, a cheap CO2 tank and a shake and shoot.

Haha, I'll take that as a compliment, good sir. I definitely was happy when I found this deal and even happier after I finally got my hands on it.

It should be, you robbed that guy.Posted Image

I was making a point by saying that you get the best "bang for your buck" buying used.

I didn't really rob him, he did it voluntarily.

No but seriously, he said he was moving and needed the money more than he cared for the marker and tank. And plus I had to drive 2 hours to the town he lived in to go pick it up so whatever money I saved was/is going to be used in gas and getting the tank hydro tested.
