so i'm 15, 5'7" and about 165 pounds. (i'm not "heavy" i guess you could say built)

i currently love to drink milk, it's pretty much all that i drink.
i probably drink over 1L of skim milk everyday just because i don't like water. so if i were to switch out all the milk in my diet for water, what would it do for me?

milk probably doesn't have the same hydration properties as water.

At 15 your body will crave things. I think it'll pass with time. You can try more juice. Your body will just pee out what it doesn't want each day.

Everyone is different, but the body deposits fat all over evenly. You need to have a layer already for moobs to start.

Soy milk does that...not regular milk

As long ad you are drinking skim its fine. Skim milk has only .7% fat and is about 80 cal per 8 oz. Just try and track your calcium intake because you don't want to over do it there

I know in the "paleo diet" they say to stay away from it

They say that humans are the only mammals, that continue to drink milk after the "growing" stage

I know also that milk lately has been pretty pumped up with hormones and other things that they give cows. Everything they feed the cows, gets put into the milk they produce. So if they are injecting hormones into the cows, then those hormones get put into your body as well.

Try it this way - give up milk for a month, see how you feel. Then, go back to drinking milk for a month, and see how you feel.

IF drinking it, or not drinking it puts on the course you want to go on, then continue on that course.

As I always say "If yes, then yes. If not... then no"

Well if I give up milk, what will I eat with my cereal?

And doesn't organic milk help?

Most dietitians will tell ya to stay away from cereal. It's processed, it's full of preservatives, full of carbs, very little protein, etc.

As one dietitian put it "Sure, it started out at one time as food, but once they stripped it, filled it full of chemicals, preservatives, machined it, processed it and colored it, then they put it in a box for you to eat"

Eggs, almonds, avacado, bacon, ham, etc

The less "processing" usually the better.

Organic milk doesn't mean anything. Raw milk yes, but not organic milk. They got that "Horizons" milk shit that lasts like 2 years, and it's stamped "organic". Why kind of milk lasts for two years and shit? Squirt milk of a cow, put it in a bucket then come look at it in 3 days. Now imagine what kind of shit they have to inject in that milk to make it last 2 years.... yet it's organic!

For anyone with access to Braums, its milk is hormone free.

look milk from a local dairy, not like your grocery store brand usually. My local dairy farmers all had to sign a hormone and antibiotic free contract so we know our milk is safe

Its as simple as heat treating it Mike, its the same basic idea as canning. I drink boxed milk all the time in the army, and it tastes cooked but its just milk.
Id suggest staying away from soymilk, most of it is over-sugared crap that people drink because it tastes good and they "think" it is healthy.
Try rice or almond milk.
