Nick, you act like you don't have a month and a half to save up $100, lol

That's because I have to drop $1300 on tuition in a week, $300 on the MK3, another couple hundred to get mags and everything I want on the damn thing, a new remote line, probably getting the new ninja pro-reg on my tank, some MOLLE stuff for my Condor vest, all the while paying for my bills, obnoxious amounts of food I eat on campus, gas driving to and from work and school, driving up to Brew City once or twice a month to help out with the Young Guns games, and hoping that my gun whoring doesn't get a second wind.

Normal days are not scenario based and most people stage out of their car.

Normal days are not scenario based and most people stage out of their car.

Which you can still do if you wanted. For the scenarios most people stage at the picnic tables down by the Chrono range, inside the rental building, inside by the airball, or their cars

Shit looks like we have a tank to kill. I'm still curious as to how the tank will even be allowed to play, considering that by posting it up on the high ground in Turmoil gives it control of a good 2/3 of the field

Want to give a quick game review based on my experience not only at Clowns v. Zombies but at World at War earlier this year. Clowns v. Zombies was an excellent big game format scenario game. After World of War I was very unlikely to ever return to Paintball Explosion and most of the people that were at that game understand why. Quite a bit was put out on this forum and others about the players disappointment in how that game was handled overall. The owners and staff of PB Explosion as uncomfortable as it was truly must have read every word that was posted and did something about it.

The safety issues were handled completely compared to the last game. The game was much more fluid and written in a way that was easy to understand and yet still provided some challenges on how to do it on the field. The overall vibe of the game was much more friendly and positive and I think that started 100% from the top down. I would like to point out a couple of good points:

1. The safety issues across the board were excellent.
2. The refs were excellent with very good communication and hard work. They literally were in the middle of the battle taking an amazing amount of damage and when there was a player injury on the field they were very quick to react in a very professional manner.
3. The clear fact that the owners and staff took all the constructive criticism to heart and made a major effort to make sure the problems were corrected.

A couple of things that you may want to tweak but by all means are not major issues.

1. Registration gets pretty bottlenecked the way it is and it takes quite a bit of time to get through it.
2. Same with paint sales. While I know due to the shape and design of the building it may be difficult, possibly filtering registration through a different area, possible the indoor speedball field, might help the speed and flow.
3. While an effort was made to move the dead boxes to improve play on the field, it's pretty clear that if the parking lot team gets to the bus first they can usually hold off the other team for the rest of the day. This may be due to size and shape of the field and you can't fix that. Not all types of games play perfect on every field.

Once again I'd like to thank everybody for a wonderful day and I guess the best compliment I could give is after World at War, I had no intentions of coming back. I had sponsorship obligations which had me coming back to the field. While I would normally bring my 12 year old son to the game with me, after my experience at World at War, I told him he couldn't come because I didn't think it was safe. Not only would I personally return to play a game here, I would bring my 12 year old and my 10 year old. Excellent job, look forward to the next opportunity I can come out and enjoy your field.

I wholeheartedly agree. they did a great job fixing some big issues. Like any big game there is always room for improvement which will come in time. I have video footage of the player injury and the refs/players response, if anyone is interested I can upload it.

I had a great time out there and got to meet/play with a lot of cool people and I look forward to the next time I get to come out and play there.

First, I know some people took some very bad spills out there (and I think someone was decapitated from a frisbee during the giveaway), I hope everyone is okay.

Also, a quick thank you to Blue and Skeletor I don't know how you guys managed to concentrate with hundreds of kids all wanting to tell you their trials and tribulations, but it seemed like you always took the time to speak with everyone of them. Seeing that really meant a lot to me.

Blue, I understand that you have officially retired form "Generaling" big games, but I hope your successor bring the same attitude and leadership as you command.

Finally, Thank you to the PBE staff and sponsors, you all did an amazing job.
